# About me
Carmen Mezei is playing the piano and singing for 21 years. She started her classical music education when she was 7 years old, at the Musical High School ''Sigismund Toduță'' in her hometown: Cluj-Napoca - a well-known unverisity city, situated in the heart of Transilvania, Romania. She graduated 16 years of classical music education having: prof. ACIU ANGELA MONICA as piano teacher for 12 years, prof. CHINTOAN CORINA and prof. Saleno Silvana (aka JULIA SALENO) as singing teachers during the high school period. After that, she applied for the Academy of Music ''Gh.Dima'' ( Cluj-Napoca, Romania) where she studied 4 years CLASSICAL PIANO INTERPRETATION with prof.conf. EDITH HORVATH and BEL CANTO OPERA SINGING with prof.dr. MELINDA MARTON ( opera singer at the Hungarian Opera in Cluj-Napoca). In 2010 she graduated the Academy of Music with a Bachelor degree in piano and singing interpretation and started to teach piano and singing in the same Musical High School ''Sigismund Toduță'' where she previously took her education. In 2013 she moved in Denmark and had her first solo piano debut performing concert in Copenhagen. On the 1st of March 2014 she opened her own piano and singing school where she is teaching now.
