Unfortunatly, people tend to turn a blind eye when it comes to emotions. They only want to look at how they are effected.

Well, think about it this way... My sister is the most important person in my life... The reason why I keyed myself a while back is because she emotionally crashed too... and yet even though I keep making sacrifices for her, she still only talks about this one person that broke her heart... She's obsessed with this person, no matter how her and much this person used her and broke her heart... the other day she couldn't wear any jewelry to do something and I was with her so she gave me everything... she handed me a ring this person gave her and said "if you lose this, I will kill you." she doesn't wear her sisters ring and she probably lost it a long while ago... it just hurts... a lot....

Suggest something like: Tell her to write down all her memories of being with him in a diary and put all the things she ever recieved from him in a box and then lock them away somewhere until she's ready to burn them or destroy them. At least they'll be out of the way and together so there will be no more of those dark phrases and she can access it when and if she ever needs to.
I know how hard that is to feel loved and then find out your nothing. I couldn't eat or sleep for weeks when I saw the guy I thought loved me have another girl on his Facebook screen. It still haunts me which is why I recently wrote a story about it and posted it in my gallery

that's the thing... she still wants to be friends with this person... and it's a touchy subject... but mom made us talk to eachother and even there was a bit of fighting, everything is solved...
