Why doesn't Angst want to return to the Light? What does he think of those that are? And WHY does he want to kill them rather than others?

Answer to first question: He finds the light itself to be an impurity, and darkness is pretty much a cure
Answer to second question: He hates all beings of light, but using them as sources of food for himself and the acolytes/other wraiths.
