I've used the name first in a correspondence with a pen pal.
During the years it becomes my name in the Star Wars fandom.
Many people only know me as Nomi Darklighter. I've wrote some stories about my alter ego, mostly in German.
She's an X-wing pilot and came to the Alliance after the death of her cousin Biggs Darklighter. Before this, she was a smuggler. Later it was discovered that she's Force-sensitive and she became a Jedi. Currently she and her whole family are with the Resistance. They serve as X -wing pilots under Poe Dameron.

Yes, I checked out your pics. I've created my character in 1998. Nomi is the daughter of Silya Darklighter and the Dark Jedi Lord Ulic Bel-Baal. Her foster father is Jula Darklighter and Gavin Darklighter is her half brother. She's married to Dash Rendar. Together they have four children. Three sons, triplets, Dash jr., Biggs and Corran and one daughter named Tasherit. All four children are Jedi and pilots.
Ok, I think I shouldn't bore you with my fictitious family.

Very nice.  I always wanted to get into that, but I could never find anything to hold my interest for very long.  I have a friend now who plays Warhammer all the time, so I'm still slightly involved.

It is all about the people.  You get a good GM and some good friends, and you can weave a story better than any novel.  Checkout my gallery, they are all commissions based on my gaming.

yeah it became a "family" thing we all gamed at one time. She is a elf favorite and I am a dwarf....go figure LOL But we have done it all or most of it Star Trek (FASA), Battletech, Ravenloft, D&D, Narnia, and many others. But that was back in 1990-2008-ish it has been a struggle ever since to find time and have the gang over.

A family that games together stays together.  Huh, I never knew there was a Narnia game...interesting!

Gaming was sort of a family thing for me too.  My best friend I have known since I was 3 got me into it.  His Dad played too, and their family is exceptionally close to mine.  We started when I was 13, and as you might imagine I wasn't very mature. For one, I had not yet learned that not everyone wanted to hear about my character, his stats, and our adventures, but I soon learned.  It did have one positive effect however! My sister was initially very annoyed by the whole concept, but we won her over once she grasped the concept of role playing and the creation of good dialogue and stories.  She was one of the best players ever....but also devious! Her second Star Wars character joined our group.....and what we didn't know is that she was playing an Imperial spy and started dimming us out and characters started dying!  She stopped gaming about the time she got engaged, and nearly ten years went by before she told me what she had done...our GM was going to take it to his grave!
