It doesn't surprise me that you would have that reaction to my writing.  According to the backfire effect, some people will cling to a faulty belief system even more strongly when confronted with evidence that conflicts with it.

See, you haven't come up with any evidence against it. All you do is say you don't like it, and point out a few things radical people supposedly say. You rely on this great strawman so much that it's just laughable. It's like the feminists who are trying to prevent girls in India from being raped and murdered and those in the US who are trying to prevent women from being harassed in the workplace are just invisible to you, and men are the only ones who need protecting.

Perhaps I am using a strawman.  I guess real feminists wouldn't do the things of which I accuse them, like sensationalize violence against women with the implication that it's almost all women who face violence, when in reality men face violence in comparable numbers and we'd be better served to focus on violence against people.

Contrary to popular perception, if you include prison rape, men are more likely to be raped.  Furthermore, in India in particular, there is an issue with  male rape victims being  shamed into silence, and having a lot less support than female victims would.  According to the Census Bureau, about three times as many men are killed than women.  So, you're basically doing one of the very things I described in my poem.

But let's set that aside.  You want to solve a female issue.  Why pick something like "girls in India from being raped and murdered?"   This Time Magazine article suggests that it's not because rape is any more of a problem in India than anywhere else.  More likely, it's because the two most violent crimes being inflicted on a young female in a developing country evokes an image that tugs on the heartstrings.  It's dramatic, and it makes it sound like you really care about what's going on in the world.

But if you actually cared, you'd focus on something like India's Man Problem.  As the article explains, women are not responsible for caring for their families into their old age like men are.  So if you have a baby girl, she will be a financial burden, and not an asset who will take care of you in your old age like a boy would be.  Therefore, baby girls are sometimes killed by families who want or need boys, resulting in a male-heavy population and a multitude of problems for both males and females, including rape.  If you wanted to make a difference, you'd fight to give females the same responsibility as males, so there'd be no reason to kill them.

But that's just it.  You're not interested helping others, and you sure as hell don't want to give women more responsibilities or obligations.  That might result in actual equality!  Instead, you're interested in securing more privilege and preferential treatment for yourself and other upper class American white women.  Your other example about workplace harassment supports that assessment.  Every workplace I've ever seen already had a strict harassment policy, and in general we have a society in which women have such a privileged status that we have to walk on eggshells for fear of offending a lady, while we can freely disregard how a man feels.

To give you an idea of women's privileged status, notice that if men have an established culture, and one woman enters, everything has to conform to suit her.  Romance novels, women's magazines, daytime talk shows, Lifetime movies, etc. don't have to cater to the minority of male viewers or have realistic, relatable male characters (and why would they?), but game culture and comic culture damn well better cater to the minority female audience and not have unrealistic female characters or anything else that could offend a woman.  (The game culture video touches on other male spaces, too.)

But that's not enough.  You want women to have an even more privileged status in America, and quite frankly, I don't know how that would even possible.

The irony is that when it comes to seeing where women do have legitimate problems and understanding what causes those problems and how we might go about fixing them, I'm actually a better feminist than you.  But when it comes to having an entitlement complex and a complete lack of self awareness, you take the cake.
