Hello! Sorry to bother you, first of all, beautiful gallery.And there's something I have to know about your Dawn's Cosplay... A) How you did the boots? B)How you did the scarf and C)How you did the skirt? Please anwser me, because I'll cosplay Dawn and I'm having some problems with the costume and I want it to be perfect just like yours ^^'

Sorry about not getting back to you sooner, I'm in Disney World so it's a little hard to find the time to get online. Oh and thanks! I'm glad you like my costume.
1. The boots: I bought a cheap pair of boots that were in the shape of Dawn's boots. From there I used the boots to get an idea of how to construct the covers, making a vague pattern so the pieces of fabric would be in the right shape and fit together well over the boots. Sewed the pieces of the cover together, slid it over the boot, and then hand sewed the top of the cover into the boots, (They were soft boots), the bottom of the boots however were hard so I hot glued the bottom of the cover. The white band around the bottom of the boot is just craft foam that I stapled (using a stapling gun) over top of the cover, and then painted over so they wouldn't be visible. The detail of the boots (That strappy thing with the clasp on the end) I glued I think 2 pieces of craft foam together and then cut it in the shape I needed and then made a sleeve with the same type of fabric I used for the boots and stuffed the craft foam in. (I hand sewed this to the boot) Then I cut out more craft foam and glued it to the ends to make the buckle things.
2. Skirt: For the skirt I just bought a pattern at JoAnne's that resembled Dawn's skirt and used that.
3. Scarf: This was the difficult part and took two tries to get right. I folded a piece of fabric in half and sewed the open side together, leaving an area in middle of the seam open (So I could later turn it inside out) I drew the points on either end and then sewed over top of that. I turned the scarf inside out and then ironed it so it would lay flat and then sewed up the place I had left open.
