i've been pretty good, tryin to teach myself a little bit of 3d animation, havent gone to school yet, i couldnt tell you why, ive just been working all the time, but i plan on going soon, im looking into schools, in fact, there is an ad for a media arts school on this page right now that i requested information for lol. so far all ive learned is physics and different types of reactors, but im teaching myself so its not going that great lol

Cool. I have no idea how to do physics or reactors at all. You don't sound like you're doing bad at all. When using 3ds max, youtube is your friend, though. ^_^ Too bad I didn't use it that much when we were in robotics together. shrug: So far, I've learned advanced modeling, texturing (like UV wrapping), animating, and character rigging. Right now, I'm learning how to use Maya as well and it's a pain to use. lol

modeling is something i have yet to learn as basic as it is, i havent found a decent tutorial for beginners, ive basicly just been learning the physics and stuff, ive also noticed a lot of schools dont teach 3ds max or at least thats not the first thing you learn, im thinking im going to have to start toying with maya, or maybe actually go to school and stop procrastinating haha

You know, the usual, making Graphic Design at the office and trying to find enough time to do my own art. A bit tedious, but good at the same time, at least now my excuse for not working on my own thing isn't mere procrastination

Also, I'm applying for a Masters Degree on SCAD, so I'm also gattering all the documentation needed for it

That sounds awesome, Shnek. I'm happy for you. I know you'll get your Masters Degree.

College has kinda been kicking my ass lately. I haven't had much time to do any of my own stuff at all as I'm sure you've noticed. I'm taking one class in particular that is literally the hardest animation course at my school that eats up all of my free time. However, I just found out that I technically passed the class on my first go around, which makes me happy. Especially considering that the teacher just failed 5 students this week for not having good enough skills even though most had C's and B's in it. Half my class either dropped out or failed this class and most upper quarter students say they've had to take the class more than once. So I'm really proud of what I was able to accomplish, even if I only just passed. Let's just say after next week, I'm looking forward to never needing to take that class again because the quarter will finally be over.

That's very good to hear! Nothing more rewarding than knowing you passed "that one class" that pops out every now and then. Those are the classes that tend to push us the more, making us grow a lot in the process.
