man i studied my ass off for it, and I feel really good about it, it happened today. there was only one question I didn't know much on, but I ended up rambling about the Taliban being false justification for the US to continue their indefinite 'war on terror' as opposed to being a legitimate enemy, after the inside-job 911 by the US govt to justify storming oil rich countries

not sure. being the last exam we don't get it back with feedback. i believe it, though, so for me it's more than just a theory. i find that 'conspiracy theories' are the things most people don't want to believe because if it were true it would mean they would need to completely redefine their conceptual grasp of concepts thought common-knowledge. if we don't want to believe it, it's a conspiracy theory, and probably not true, is the general idea. Well, I think that is a stupid way to keep the wool on our own eyes. do I believe in every conspiracy theory? no, I don't believe that aliens exist, i dont have any logical reason to. Do I believe 9/11 was a controlled demolition? Anyone who has ever seen one and can believe their eyes rather than a commissioned report probably would. Do I believe that the moon landing was a staged event that never really happened? Perhaps. The pissing contest of the cold war gave the americans the unfortunate reality that ussr beat them into space and ten years later USA still hadn't significantly outdone them -- this would have been an easy way to assert the ever-important might of a superpower desperate for domination on all frontiers. Lance Armstrong died recently. Maybe he never even walked on the moon. It's plausible, even if no one wants to believe it. But I'm not sure about that. I am sure about 9/11 and the war on terror though. It is entirely within the US psychosis to stage and justify, and has happened accross history repeatedly.

I agree wholeheartedly about the US' ability to justify any kind of action based upon their "we're first, it's all about us and damn the rest to hell" attitude. Even based upon the non-existent WOMD that GW used to justify Iraq, I guess that I'm just more likely to believe that the moonwalk was done via Hollywood than I would a controlled demolition. But hey, given the current Republican doctrine I could be talked into believing almost anything that happened in the states that would appear stupid to normal, rational human beings.
