I've been a slave to school, moving, adjusting to new environments, and committed to a job whose genre I swore I'd never run with again.
I got drunk one night and joined eharmony, I've been finding strange motivation to actually DO things even when they're inconvenient, and I'm oddly losing weight again!

Work, mostly. I got a new job as a lab tech at the local potato factory, so I'm quite a bit happier with work. The downside is that I work a completely opposite shift from my wife so we see each other for a few hours 4 days out of the week, but I'm hoping in August I can get on a different shift.
Aside from that, just doin' my thing, I dunno. Always trying to draw better.

Oh no! Well, on those other three days do you get to see eachother all day (except for when you have to sleep (unless you sleep with your eyes open and facing eachother. That'd be weird.))?

Actually, if I was not in a relationship, it would be ideal for me, personally. 4-midnight is pretty much my perfect shift, I get to sleep in without wasting the whole day, I have the day to do things, then work and bed at a reasonable time around 1am!

The head wings were held on by a headband sewed into the wig. The Back wings were an elabourate backpack system.

Well I got my dad to cut the bones for the wings, since I didn't have access to a band saw, but otherwise yes! I will say it was an ordeal though and I'm not eager to make huge props again....

Balsa wood- Although I recommend using something stronger if you can afford it, as right before my masquerade entry, one of the staff knocked me over and one of the wings snapped. :/

Don't worry... She was trying to help me fix my boot and the way the backpack was, I couldn't bend at the waist. So when she pulled my leg up, I flipped backwards and landed on it. Annoying, but certainly not intentional/negligent. She was apologetic and took care of me for the rest of the time at least.
