hmm, then I dont know whats wrong with my computer T_T I downloaded Java and no chats work, I installed MIRC but it never opens properly, this computer doesnt even recognize Google! It says its a dangerous site and never lets me go on it! I've tried all sorts of configurations, even adding sites to my trusted sites list...*sighs* nothing T_T

You should probably allow it. Perhaps your security is set to high?? *whine* When you try to open it, what does it say/ you may need to have admin rights to your computer.

right after looking up hostname : \.
I would love to get rid of vista and put in windows XP *sighs* but aparently I'd have to do all this random wierd stuff -_-.
Maybe I should ask a techi?

*contemplates* that is a really weird error message. I've got vista and it works fine for me. I've not gotten that error before.

You're the admin accuont right?

Seems like there is something corrupt with the mIRC. You uninstalled and reinstalled yes?

Trust me, I know the commute from Orange to Dutchess... =3= I did it for three semesters. About $15 a day in gas alone. But it was worth it.
