"a bit toasty"? that sounds unbearable! This is why Canada's weather is perfect for me - blazing for a few days in the summer, warm the rest, cool in the fall and then icy in the winter! I suck at the cold though, I turn into a popsicle. A me-sized popsicle. But right now, warm with a cool breeze! Be jealous

not gonna lie, it's pretty miserable during the summer. it's like living in a convection oven until the rare times when i get enough free time to go diving, then it's pretty awesome how's life other than the temperature??

oh god, that sounds rough. the camera studio sounds cool though! you're already really good at photography, so I can't wait to see the outcomes once it happens! I'm taking political theory, politics in europe, politics in Canada, psychology, medical anthropology, and of course, poetry what are you taking? I feel like your courses would be way more interesting than mine.

those sound awesome! at least the ones that aren't political haha mine definitely aren't that interesting.. i've got aerospace structures 2 (which has a 80% failure rate.. yay), aircraft stability and control (which has about 10-15 hours of homework a week), aerodynamics 2, and preparation for active duty (air force). i would love to have time to take psychology and medical anthropology though, they sound really interesting

I take it you're a math/science-y kind of person! I'm jealous. Unfortunately, all I'm good at is writing essays. Politics is good for me that way Yeah I'm really looking forward to medical next term! It was always one of my ambitions to become a doctor, until I realized I was terrible at all forms of math and chemistry. Now it's law school for me. Pretty boring. so what do you study in structures 2? I feel like that one would be really difficult (notwithstanding the 80% failure rate, which I'm sure you will not be part of!)

if I can get into law school, most definitely! not criminal law though, I spook myself out pretty badly over that kind of thing. that sounds awesome! I want to do imaginary work! Instead I have to read and reread the canadian constitution so by forces do you mean like... natural ones? wind etc? or like electricity. Or something else completely? I'm doing like a historical review of medical anthropology, so I'll be studying how the human body has changed and adapted over the last however-many-years to fight against certain diseases, changes in climate, geography etc. It's pretty cool stuff!

That's gotta be a first, I don't think I've ever been called that before I'm currently at the university of Toronto for Politics (hence all the politics courses), but for law school when that time comes, either McGill, UofT or hopefully somewhere in the states! we'll see You're a jedi?? I lived in New York for a few years! Yeah, I think we're bigger by a bit, but the amount of habitable land is much smaller - the North is a barren wasteland in a lot of ways! Pretty though Yeah, gotta get it medicated once in a while. That always helps with that issue! Stupid unicorns.

of course! I'm from Quebec, so most of my family will take trips up north together every once in a while It's really gorgeous, in a lonely kind of way! Personally, I love the outdoors so the vast amount of trees and then barren landscape really appeals to me. Farther up is my favorite though, because you can see glaciers. Ooh, also whale watching. So, so beautiful. You're going to Europe this summer?? that's so amazing, I'm jealous! where are you going?? my friend's cousin goes to alaska bible college, and I've heard it's gorgeous. If you go, take pictures for me!

yeah I think my camera is going to need a vacation after this summer. me and my buddy are gonna try to get to as many countries as possible and maybe even get into north africa a bit we've been basically spending the last couple of weeks compiling all the places we absolutely have to go like the ardennes forest, anywhere in romania, france, italy, spain, scotland, england (he has friends and family there), obviously we'll be living in ireland for the fall , and I REALLY WANT TO GO TO NORWAY.

oh absolutely. Ahh, you don't understand how jealous I am! my older brother is doing the same thing this coming summer. And I'm actually considering doing a placement next year in Paris for school! We'll see if I can afford it, but the plan is to spend either a semester or the whole year studying in France! That sounds like such a great trip though, seriously! Spain,France, and the UK are totally amazing. Ardennes - that's around Belgium and Luxembourg, isn't it? Romania and Norway are legitimately two of the places I want to visit the most! I've heard the photography there, especially Norway, is to die for! And of course, ireland is a must!
