# About me

I graduated in 2012 with a BA in Fine Arts and Elementary Education. Currently, I teach art to children from kindergarten-8th grade. I love helping my students find their own creative spirit, and I believe that all children are natural artists. Their boundless creativity is my best inspiration.

一期一会 (ichi-go ichi-e)
This phrase is roughly translated to "One time, one meeting" and is a cultural concept often attributed to the famed tea master, Sen no Rikyu. In the Japanese tea ceremony, one must respect the host and other guests, and honor the moment as if it were a once-in-a-lifetime gathering. That is, we should cherish every meeting for it will never happen again.

I am the parent of a middle school choir student. In looking for choir shirt designs I came across your picture of a singing knight. Their mascot is the knight so I wanted to see if we could use your knight. We want to use custom ink to create shirts but I’d need copyright permission to use the knight, if you allow that.
