# Interests
Favorite TV shows: A bunchFavorite bands / musical artists: Just about anything. It is hard to displease me with music. However, I've been listening to a lot of rock, metal, techno, house, and dubstep (which I think falls under techno).
Favorite books: I don't really go out and read a book. I know there are good books out there, but it's just not my thing to read novels and whatnot.
Favorite games: FPS, sandboxes, and racing games. Sadly, I don't have many of either types to carry out a discussion with other people about them. For example, I only have Halo 3: ODST, Reach, Anniversary, and CoD: Black Ops and CoD 3 for FPS games... I need more games..
Favorite gaming platform: Simply because I messed up with my PS3, XBOX 360.
Tools of the Trade: ... What?
Other Interests: I like to get out and do stuff.
# About me
My works (so far) have all been created using Adobe Illustrator CS3, then converted to pixels by uploading them to Adobe Photoshop CS4, and finally saving them without any image alterations. I've been using .jpg/.jpeg format for my finished images, but I want to know if there is any advantage to using Bitmaps and .png image formats.I've been creating my works in the spare time that I have, which will dwindle since my new college semester just started (1/17/12). So far, the works have been taking a stock image, tracing it to the best of my ability, and possibly altering the trace to be more accurate and true to what I am creating (or recreating). At the moment, my subjects have been Pokemon, however I am currently working on an MLP-related subject, which will be taking some time.
Feel free to give me tips, tricks, and critiques on my posted works.

To tag a quality deviant:Β And youβre it!Β
Quality doesnβt mean that you have a lot of followers, or a lot of messages. It means that youβre nice to other people, and you deserve to be happy. If you get this message, someone is telling you that they love you as you are, and they donβt care how many followers you have. Send this to 10 deviants who deserve it. If you break the chain, nothing will happen. But itβs just good to let someone know that you love them
no need to do it if you dont want to X3

Good for the most part.
A 4TB HDD that was not dead on arrival and a will-be-needed 1TB laptop HDD would be perfect (current one is soon to die, but not showing any distinct signs of failure). Despite those, I've recently been diving into anime partly due to boredom and my winter break, and I've put myself to the task of creating a Love Live! wallpaper consisting of the various expressions and faces of the squares for each idol from the little-animated extras.
What about you?

What are you currently or planning on drawing and what level of education are you in? In a couple weeks I'm going to start my... 8th semester of college at my JC?... I don't know. I graduated high school the year of 2011 and have been attending fall and spring semesters starting the fall of that year.

A freshman! All I can say is for you not to slack off in your grades like I did in my first two years, and to not let your diligence fall until your classes have been completed for the year (avoid senior-itis tendencies, but for all 4 years) which isn't hard to do.
I can relate on feeling like not having enough time in the day during high school. I was part of a Vex robotics club, and every day, I would stay after school and take part of the club until 5 pm (when the adviser would leave to go home), and then do my time-consuming homework, usually math and something else. I would then reserve my weekends for my free time to play video games because I need that relaxation. I might have had a groove that worked really well, but I always felt like there was more that could be done in the day if I didn't need all my sleep or the weekly relaxation.
What math are you taking and where are you in what I'm assuming is conceptual physics? My freshman year, I took Geometry, but since the teacher decided that we needed to take notes from the book, I ended up not taking notes. Despite this, I was the A-student of the class, but the notes were graded as 10% of the grade, so I had a B all year.
I just say that work (apparently, you posted it an hour ago). Spoopy.

interesting, if i tell you im on a females club on school, our job is, when we have special dates on school, thatres, etc...to coordinate the smallest children, they have to remain seated all the times, this is my 1st time and it went pretty good if i tell you
i draw alot on fridays, but i also have to go to my english classes (my 1st language is not english, is spanish hehe) and i remain there till 4 or 5pm, and then i go to my house and if i have time, i draw, if i have any test or thing to learn i dont draw, even if i want that badly, cuz i have to keep my rate at the max, im one of the A-studends, we're 3 in total, and on the classroom we're 43 (counting me in both) and i dont take notes of anything literally, just the most important things 4 testes, the rest i need to study is on the book of the subject

Curious, but is the order of your classes the same for each day of the week? And keeping yourself at the top of the class is a bit laborious. Just this last semester, I was in a chemistry class where people tend to not do very well because it's supposedly hard material, and as soon as I found out that I happened to be at the top of my lab session (approximately 1/3 of the class) I competed for #1 in the entire classroom with my grade (I was the guy who came in to lecture without even a pencil). I still don't know how well I did on the final nor my overall ranking with my grade. >:/
Your ability to wield the English language is pretty good.

Yep, is the same, and wow! well chemistry is a little hard 4 me, since its like you see math 3 times, i mean, physics, math and chemistry are numbers and numbers and i went all crazy
well thanks c:

Math is... math, there really isn't a way to describe it with another subject; physics is applied math, mainly things that you would/could graph; and chemistry is just a bunch of conversions and ratios, but it does require different thinking than math or physics.
You're welcome!

I know! Right? That's Like seeying math 3 times, i mean why? It's just weird, for me it doesn't Make any sense to display The math Like that, in my opinion it's Like We See The subject (MATH) 3 times...And Math Is The subject i hate...Idk is a Little Hard 4 me

It gets to a point in math where you start doing conceptual things that you wouldn't normally do in real life, if ever (depends on where you go for your higher education). Because of my physics and circuit analysis stuff, I have to know calculus for all of my education, but to take measurements or make basic guesses for something, I only really need algebra. I'm sure that if you can get a visual for the things you're doing (things higher than just solving single-variable lone linear equations with no application). I can't remember if you mentioned it, but what math are you taking?
Don't let yourself get discouraged because a LOT of things require some level of math, or at the very least, math makes solving certain things a LOT easier.

yeap, i know its a little stressful, but you need it in your life or somewhere else, at least to help someone
the math im taking right now is 3th grade, square root (i guess that's how toy say it in english, im not that sure)

It's all practice and a good art program
I use manga studio, because (in my opinion) it is the best art program for blending colours. I could never use anything like photoshop (I tried!) because the blending on it is terribly difficult.
Keep trying new things, and your art will get better!

BluePedro In reply to AkumaRyoshi [2014-04-06 19:35:47 +0000 UTC]
I know it's all practice and trying new things, but personally, I have to stay on top of simply making art because I've been bogged down with school this semester and last semester... and I'm a bit lazy on the latter and I have an ongoing non-art-related pet project that I'm hoping will work.
I still need to look into Sai (and now Manga Studio) after I learn how to fiddle with Ps.

I get worn out every day when coming home from college and only being able to grab something to eat and then fall asleep 'cause I wake up anywhere from 4:30-6:00 am and I get home anywhere from 4:30-9:30 pm.
My laziness doesn't show until I'm home and doing stuff by myself... at least the physical aspect of said laziness.-I've been in bed almost all day.

Ewww. If you had it for the PS3, you could cross-platform game with people who have it on the PC (I don't know why Microsoft didn't include this like Sony did.).
And before you say anything about me bashing Microsoft/XBOX and praising Sony/Playstation, I have both platforms.

It's understandable that you got it for XBOX, then, but still, cross-platform gaming is really nice. And I'm a console gamer strictly because I don't have a decent PC or the internet to support it.

Just because you're too young for a job doesn't mean that you'll get what you want.
The reason I need a job is because I already got an iPod Classic that I promptly put 3rd party firmware onto, and the PS4 is $400 and the XB1 is $500, toss in a game or two in the mix, and it's a little over $1,000 altogether. No one is going to pay that for me.
