yea, things like this happened constantly  
some people doesn't put importance on promise and we only can accept ourselves got really bad luck.
there are still a $33 USD commission from a really popular person that I had been commissioned it over 2 years, but till now I still haven't get it.

Knowing this artist and staying updated with her life, Blue has been going through ALOT recently and in the past year. 
At this time her computer is actually broken.. It killed itself updating on its own. 

And having people poke at her about art something that is not as important as her real life issues most likely aren't helping it. 
So please keep all of this in mind.

Take into consideration no one knows what's going on in their life, they haven't updated anyone in a very long time. 
It's normal for someone to be concerned when they paid someone and have not gotten any feedback for months on end. 
A hiatus is fine and dandy, if the artist updates their customers or at the very least make sure people know they aren't just running off with their money. 

Personally, I commissioned them a year ago on facebook. They went into a "hiatus" right after I paid them and I did not hear anything after that. After 6 months I found them on Deviantart and figured ut they were not on a "Hiatus" because they were taking more commissions. I contacted them and they told me they probably had it finished and added me to their to-do list. It's now been MONTHS AGAIN and they are on another "Hiatus". How am I supposed to feel? I have tried to be understanding but it is a little difficult when someone is making it obvious they scammed you.

A year you been waiting yes? Well sadly enough she's been dealing 
with extremely hard times for more than a year. Actually they've lost
everything last year and currently in the middle of a struggle this year as well.
So sorry if she was not able to always update you or honestly everyone on her
commissions list.

So, while you've been waiting for your piece of art this person has been
going through more things that one would guess is far more important
than a piece of digital art.  So not meaning to be rude but, people have 
waited longer for things online. And personally Real life comes before
things online. And with how everything is going on her front page
(comment) section I wouldn't be shocked if she was finally able to 
return to only leave officially in fear of how much people have said.

I've known this artist for years, she's very weak hearted when it comes
to comments regarding how slow she is moving or of her not posting something 
out there during a time of struggle for her. I know waiting a long time can be
frustrating.

If they knew they were going through some things, they shouldn't have taken on commissions they wouldn't be able to finish. or at least should have offered refunds on them. 
In all honesty, they shouldn't have taken on commissions at all if they never planned on finishing them.

Just because one hasn't gotten a commission in a long time
doesn't mean it won't be done. 

Most of her posted commissions are old ones.
So instead of jumping the gun that it wouldn't get done why not form a little more patience.

I know there is a history of people not placing commissions out after a year, but she is not like that.
Don't get me wrong I'd be upset as well. But, Blue is not one to scam people. 

It will take a long time for her to finish things depending on what they are 
or whats going on in her life. But she doesn't accept things she won't finish in the long run.

However, I will not wait for another year. If it takes that long I may post a beware.

Well as I've said her computer is currently broken
and can't be sent in for repairs till next week. So till it's
repaired why not stay in contact with me so I can give you updates.

Such as when her computer is fixed and when she is up and arting again.
If you don't mind this would it be too much for me to ask if you could note me what
she owes you? It'd make it easier for me to snoop on her progress.

It's alright. 
I'm currently in big sibling mode with her due to what she is going through.
So for the time being she only gets news of whats going on in her comments 
through me. 
And because of this it drove me a little bit mad that suddenly people placed complaints
on her profile when she is trying her hardest with everything thats going on. So
sorry if I came up mean in any way. 

Let alone I didn't want anyone to think she was ignoring them or hiding.
When in truth she is trying her best to come back as fast as possible.
