Thanks for all your kind words about my work! I'm glad you enjoy it, and your welcome for the high res. I wish more folks would put there stuff up high res, because I like to zoom in on it and really look it over, and just can't on normal resolution. :/
Enjoy! b.

Hahah. No worries. It's always nice to share the birthday cheeriness (I'm not even sure that's a word...) Besides, my Jan birthday is always cold and crap weather, maybe I should throw a summer birthday just to enjoy it in good weather! That's a good idea!
You could do this too, since you got the Jan b-day, too!
Cheers to us! b.

Hi, Brian. I'm Ed, and I think I'm working with you, Bill, Ron and on an upcoming project. Of course, I'm piecing this together a little at a time. It's gonna be cool working with you and the gang.

Hi, nice to meet you. I take it you'll be lettering the strips, right? Are you also from here in Ohio?
Got pages to draw, I'll talk to you later. b.

I'm a co-penciller. I think you're pencilling the stuff Bill writes, and I'm pencilling Ron's work. At least that's my current understanding.
I think it's gonna be a wild ride!
And I'm in Georgia, south of Atlanta. Thank goodness for the internet!

OOOOHHH! Okay, that makes a lot more sense! I'm really surprised Bill hasn't sent me an e-mail about that, cuz he usually sends out this info the mili-second it happens. Although his computer was down for some time, so...
In this case, perhaps we should exchange e-mails--my typical mode of communication via internet--so I can bounce some of my ideas off of you and vice-versa, send sketchs and ref material, etc. Mine's brian.latimer@yahoo.com.
If you haven't been advised, I'm neck deep in a project right now, so I won't be getting to any of the Price stuff until mid-Feb (except maybe squeezing in a sketch here or there). I've glanced over the script for the first 6 or 7 pages, and the peripheral material, but haven't read it in-depth. I'm a big Mickey Spilane fan, and this story screams Mike Hammer influence, so I'd like to run with some of the old-Hollywood art deco flavors in the design, which I love deco and neuvou anyway, so I'm always looking for places to intigrate them.
Right now the only thing I'm not 100% on from what's been established for the character is the car--late model Lexus seems a little visually bland to me. I was thinking something with a bit more distinction, like a '70s Thunderbird--or the Lincoln version of that, which I can't ever remeber the name of--it's a big long, powerful thing with strong lines, and now that I'm writing this, basically a giant phalus. Makes perfect sense...Anyway, let me know your opinion, and if you have design elements you'd like to intigrate wherever, and we can petition the committee of writers for it.
Georgia, huh. Hope you bought a warm coat! I got a kick out of the fact my snow-bird aunt and uncle high-tailed down to Florida 2 days after Christmas, then a week later it was colder there than it was here in Ohio!
Cheers! b.

I'll respond by email!
And, yes; it's been cold. As a school bus driver, my mornings have been a kind of hell, with temps in the teens.
But spring arrives early in these parts, and robins are already in abundance, so it's only a matter of time.
More later!
Ed

I miss robins. I can't wait til spring--we had several inches of snow all melt off then stay in the air as fog for the last 3 or 4 days. Gloomy as hell and twice as muddy.
I got your e-mail and responded. Like I said, that's the main mode to contact me, as I don't much care for these msgs on DA.

Really, you're from Ohio, too? 2 Ohioans abroad. It's an epidemic!
Fliping the pic would be best. Let me know if you do, so I can fave the new one. It'd only be trouble if you flipped it the wrong way on purpose. Yep. You'd be a trouble maker then.
Enjoy the world. b.

Hey man. I just stumbled on your gal (not sure how) and thought I'd say hi. I know what it's like to want to work in the comic industry and I wish I had some advise but you seem to be further along than me. lol
Nice work anyway.

Don't sell youself short. I saw your gallery, and you're further along than I was at your age. I'm going to be 30 in a week, so you get an idea of how much effort and patience is involved.

Thanks a lot for the kind words!
It is ironic because I'm originally for rural Ohio, and really don't like being in large cities for very long--an afternoon in Tel Aviv, and I'm wiped out.
But, then again, it's not much fun to draw a 10 acre field of beans, either. Unfortunately, I've pondered that challenge more than once.
Spiderman'd be screwed trying to get around.
Cheers! b.
