Hi, i would like to ask you permission to use Anti-art theft card.
I have a small project for author rights and i think the face part fits perfect with what i have in mind. If you want i could send you by regular mail a shot for you to see what is about and how it would look if i use your source.

I'm almost done but now this will take me a bit more than expected. I've got the template on flashden because i still don't have enough skills to do it all by myself and now this template result uncomplete so have to fix some stuff.
And it's quite funny the fact that i've got the template from those warez sites, you know you can get tons of stuff this way but i'm the kind of person that thinks if you like it and you want to use it then buy it. Now the irresponsible one is the author! I've found it very funny cause the basis of author sense is that, to show that both users and authors should be responsible. Responsible for their products and responsible for using them in a legitime way.
By the way, you're there in Philippines?? What is your zone? i've heard some places are a livin' hell because of heavy rainfall.

yes, i think most of those websites are taking the chance to cheat people. i'm aqgree with that kind of traffic if that's for testing purposes and similar but not the way has become.

I'm writing down my last sights in author sense so in the next hours or so can be reached at authorsense.com/index.html (the main is reserved for a different menu) and forum is working too, have to post some topics yet but is working and then i'm working for the profiles part so you'll have yours soon.
The difference with the community part with other places it is the terms and copyright, if you take a look most of places are "takin the right to use and abuse of your artworks just to be registered". I've noticed time ago in myspace cause i'm musician and i got scared when i took the chance to read well the terms... later realized that facebook,da,every major website is makin this. That's the reason of the project "there's no website that really protects your rights"... instead of that they sell to microsoft large amount of data and licenses to other partners to have "free way" to make derivative works from yours

as for protecting our rights, i think there is no perfect way to do this. it's been a long and hard struggle for artists to protect themselves, but what the heck, those pirates keep on stealing.

yeah i totally agree with that!
dunno, i think it's like givin' another point of view. we'll never get some people stops to steal stuff but maybe if we get all views we can get a few to think another way.
in some part it is fault of some authors/artists(not all but a few) and by the other hand the normal people.
we can't deny sometimes you buy whatever and once you paid any kind of support dissappears or you get something different or worst than promised and i think some people then starts the "ok, i'm not buying anymore" way...
Myself i've paid time ago more than 400 $ for a web script that made me pass a livin' hell.Few months saving money for that!
In some sense rest of artists/authors are payin' because of the stupid ones, seems some people lost trust.
I'm a bit stuck on how to define the rest of the project, i have it quite clear but stuck on the way to define it to people yet but i think it's possible to change some minds.
But the project has a second side: and that's about all those websites that give us free whatever to expose our works.Those terms are abusive so in this part the intention is to start building websites for any kind of artist but to leave terms and conditions real fair, not like that.I know i'm gonna be slow to be done with everything but i think is worth it too!
