You used my real name... interesting.
You make eye-catching posters. Relatively simple, but very effective.

The artwork is very impressive, but I'd recommend crediting the artist in future. You should always give credit where credit is due, regardless of medium. It's just good practice.

And then, of course, there's this that we get in a week's time. I could not be more pumped... if only I actually had the skill to take him on...
But seriously, that is such a badass turf war, with super high damage factors as well! The only thing I don't like about it is that, even though Deviljho is clearly the more aggressive of the monsters, he takes more damage. He also looks more tired at the end of the scuffle. When you look at the actual blows exchanged, Deviljho should definitely do more damage toΒ Bazelgeuse than visa versa. I get the need to make the monsters seem evenly-matched, but still. Deviljho has been with us since Gen 3 andΒ Bazelgeuse is new to the table; just through fan reactions alone you'd expect Deviljho to at least do more damage, even if the animations show a fairly even fight.

If you look in the other games, monsters have a "Danger Rating" marked with stars
Deviljho and Rajang are the ONLY ones with as much stars as elder dragons

That I have noticed, and it makes me very pleased. I hope it translates appropriately to World, and it looks like it is for the most part. I think my gripes with the Bazelgeuse turf war are just minor issues that probably only I have, to be honest. Plus, I've seen that some of the turf wars have had auto-balancing since their original introductions (Jyuratodus Vs Barroth now has Barroth dealing more damage instead of visa versa, Anjanath Vs Rathalos now has Rathalos dealing 700+ damage instead of 1000+ damage, etc.), so it's possible the damage values will change in future. I've also heard rumors that Deviljho has a turf was with Anjanath, and he completely wrecks house, so I'm super excited for that.
Honestly, all I need to do now is hone my skills so that I'll actually be able to face him when he's released in a week's time.

theoretically he SHOULD have a turf war with everyone, right?
π: 0 β©: 1
BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Sketch-TOONS [2018-03-19 02:44:19 +0000 UTC]
Yes, theoretically, he should. I mean, technically every monster should have a turf war with every other monster that appears naturally in their environment (i.e. Rathian Vs Barroth, Rathalos Vs. Great Jagras, you get the idea), but that would still mean that Deviljho should have a turf was with everyone, because he can appear literally anywhere. Although, I think he does have a turf war with a lot of different monsters, it's just that most of them involve him grabbing them in his mouth and then using them as bludgeons.

Hello! I am happy to announce my personal Jurassic Park/Jurassic World tribute project finally finished! It took me a whole month, but it was worth it. Please just click this link and have fun: garo123456.deviantart.com/gallβ¦
I tried to be as scientifically accurate as possible(feathered dromeosaurs, supinated arms, etc), but then again a lot of paleonthology is speculation and constantly changing, so I am not responsible for any inaccuracies. No one is perfect, and it's not my fault the modders have made the things in these pictures the way they are shown. Overall however I chose and showed the best high-quality mods(as few glitches as possible, good/realistic-looking AND scientifically accurate). In order to get a better view, simply left click on the picture(obviously), also you will see some interesting info in its' below description. All positive and/or neutral feedback is appreciated: comments, views, faves, downloads, llamas, etc. If you have a question, feel free to ask me. Also if you see a mistake/problem, tell me and(if possible) I will try to fix it. Just please post it on the specific picture or the gallery/folder as a whole(sending notes is also appreciated). Please keep in mind that a lot of time, research and effort was put in making these pictures. I had to search and download the mods, build the exhibits, look up the animals' info on the Internet, and take the snapshot itself. The last one was particularly time-consuming and annoying, since the animals wouldn't stand still(especially the marine/aquatic ones). I even spend several nights sleepless doing this.
Lastly, while I must admit I am making this for fun and for others to enjoy, I also have a personal reason. I wish this will motivate others to make simular projects and/or draw these animals(for those who like prehistory, of course). If you are planning on using these pictures, sure go ahead. Just remember to credit me. But more importantly, my prehistoric portfolio is in honour of zoo sim and/or dinosaur games(Zoo Tycoon, Mesozoica, Prehistoric Kingdom, etc) and their communities. Thank you everyone, I couldn't have done it without you. So now my friends, please click the link and enjoy the show.
PS: Here's a teaser/spoiler for my next big project in the future: garo123456.deviantart.com/gallβ¦
I don't know when exactly I will do it, but I promise one day it will be done. Goodbye for now, and best of wishes to everyone.

It's definitely an interesting project to say the least. I'm very impressed with a lot of the models and their accuracy to source material (whether previously-released paleo documentaries or just paleontological facts in general.) I can't say I intend to do anything similar in the future, but I appreciate being pointed to such a project.Β

Not much. School takes up most of my free time, so I haven't been able to do all-that much in the field of drawing or writing. Granted, the former is not lacking entirely due to time constraints (as I do have plenty of sketches lying around), I just haven't gotten the urge to ink them. Too worried I'll mess them up.
I mean, I also recently broke down and went on a shopping spree for SH Monsterarts figures, so now I have King Ghidorah (1991), Godzilla (2001), Gigan (2004), and Godzilla (1954), as well as the Godzilla Vs Destroyah (1995) effects pack with the Super X III. I'm thinking about getting the new Burning Godzilla (1995) figure with the updated paint job and smoke effects, as well as the re-released special paint job Destroyah (1995) and MSF Type-3 Kiryu (2002), but I don't want to spend all of my money. Dilemmas, dilemmas, dilemmas.Β
Anyways, I'm planning some special affairs, both for me personally and for my dA page, for the upcoming holiday that we should all be getting very excited for. I assume you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Funny thing about SH MONSTER arts. They have the mechagodzilla figure from the 1993 poster coming soon along with...wait for it...well, I'll just say this much. Space titanium isn't cheap.
Need some links let me know.

I know that they're re-releasing Mechagodzilla II (Super Mechagodzilla) as well as working on a 1993 Mechagodzilla poster edition figure (alongside the re-releases of Burning Godzilla and Destroyah), and I've heard rumors about a Showa Mechagodzilla being in the works, but I didn't know it to be official yet.
If you know of any places to get the for cheap ($150 or less, depending on the figure), I'd be highly appreciative (I'm reffering more so to Kiryu 2002 model).Β

I know the game, and I'm familiar with the fact that the game includes both Godzilla and Evangelion-based expansions, but this may be taking it a bit too far. I'm all for the whole promotional crossover thing, but there are some things you just shouldn't do with said content. A Godzilla/Eva Unit-01 hybrid is one of those things... and they've now done it THREE TIMES (an S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla figure with Eva Unit-01 colors, a literal hybrid between the two creatures in the form of a sculpture, and now that damn Monster Strike character!) in different mediums!

π: 0 β©: 1
BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to sonichedgehog2 [2016-08-02 04:50:40 +0000 UTC]
It's not so much that they can (well, actually, it is, but that's besides the point...), it's that they do. Japan does what Japan wants, and they don't take shit from no one, even the fanbase... unless they start losing money. But, I mean, even if they make terrible Godzilla/Eva Unit-01 morph models that look horrid, people will still buy it just for the hell of it, or just to say they own it, so it doesn't matter. It's interesting to think that I was original (and still sort of am, in a way) very enthusiastic for this crossover merchandise line, for obvious reasons. Not only does it promote something that I've been talking about for years, but it also opens up the opportunity for potential future crossover mediums of more intense fanservice, such as a film or a TV show, or even an anime. However, in light of some of the newer products this crossover line has produced, perhaps I was being too overly-ambitious about the whole thing. I mean, yes, Japan did create the greatest movie monster of all time, but they also created anime, and we all know how quickly that can get way weird...
