Oh that reminds me, I will have to take a picture of it and give it you.. but I got the Crisis core ultima guide from japan. It has story boards from the game, they have the story board for out side the fort in Wutai when Angeal and Zack are waiting for B unit. Zack is actually sitting there with a puppy tail wagging back and forth.

Ha! That is epic. I've been wanting to get the Ultima guide, but haven't had the chance yet. The only thing I have now is the regular English CC guide, and one other guide book from Japan, but it's not for CC. I forget what it's called at the moment.

i found one on ebay for actually cheap for once compared to the normal $80 everyone wants for it. I gotta translate most of it which is difficult for me since i don't speak japanese but i did some basic searching through it and i found that story board at the back and just laughed.

I'm really only keen on reading AU fanfiction, so as you can guess I don't read that much FF fanfiction, because there doesn't seem to be that much around that I can find. 
I was going leave another comment cuz I haven't faved your last chapter, but I especially liked the way you did Angeal's pov - in a diary style. Very creative.

Thank you! Yeah, there's not a lot of really good AU fanfiction out there, or at least not many that interest me. I have written a few AU FF7 stories though, which you can check out if you're interested.
Thanks! I occasionally like to change up the writing style depending on what I feel the story needs. Writing from a journal/diary perspective is interesting because it's not strictly from the character's own POV - you have to figure out what they would actually write about a situation, which isn't necessarily everything they think or feel about it. It doesn't really come into play very much in Just a Little Rough Around the Edges, but it became important in a different story I wrote. It can get challenging!

you're right about the diary perspective. I see that you could use it and not give so much away about the character's inner dialogue, it's more formal, official. But that might have to do with your character.
