# About me
Hello, this page is run by both me (the photographer) and she (the model). We hope to take the pin up world by the balls and drag it back to glamour and class, rather than bad soft core porn.~
~
We're the amateurs (photographer and model) who run our dA page. The photographer is a 20-year-old Australian man and the model is a 20-year-old American woman. We met over the internet in late 2008, and have since visited each other. The model is now living in Brisbane, QLD with the photographer, but hopes to make trips back to Seattle to visit family once in awhile. Although our art is currently produced with a not-so-fancy Canon Powershot, in the future we hope to invest in more professional tools.
The photographer, when not shooting the model (we'll leave you to decide whether that's an innuendo or not), makes his own electric guitars. In the spare time of the model, she likes to experiment with clothes and makeup, while catching up on the latest computer technology. The model has training in computer tech support. As you can see, we have quite a range of interests!
Thank you for the faves and watches so far! We're very new at this and we're grateful for the responses we get.
Current Residence: Brisbane, QLD
Favourite genre of music: Thrash/black/alternative metal and various electronic music, like filthy dubstep :P
Favourite style of art: Pin-up, definitely.
Operating System: Beating the dead horse called Windows XP
MP3 player of choice: Does it matter? If it has sufficient capacity and doesn't break, then it's fine.
Shell of choice: Bowser's spiked shell in Mario Kart
Skin of choice: ... Mine?
Personal Quote: "Is this the Alice Springs exhibit?"

Hi and thanks for the fave on one of my pinup shots! I like your philosophy on pinups being classy and not soft porn, which I also have tried to do. There is too much porn tied in with it, especially on here and it's disappointing.
You guys have a good gallery. Keep up the good work

You bet! All my pin up and other models are from Brisbane, Australia!! Totally agree with ya on the 'say no to sleaze' idea...sadly we're a bit too close to the Gold Coast here, things tend to get influenced by the 'glamour' industry a little more than I'd like!

Lol yeah, at least there's a Kitten D'Amore here and a fairly good range of vintage stuff around. We (me the photographer and she the model in our pics) were going to do a shoot at South Bank on the fake beach this week in the nice sunny weather, so much for that haha. You're lucky you have a studio (from what I gather) so you don't have to be a slave to the damn rain lol

Yes things are improving, a lot of the people who've been in Bris for ages seem to have been doing this stuff 20 years ago, and are happy to see the resurgence of vintage style that we've had lately! Although I think Brisbane has always had that, it just doesn't get seen by everyone. I am lucky with my studio, although it took me a good long time to set up. The rain's a bitch whichever way you look at it, I've had to cancel heaps of work over the last month. Still, better than a drought, at least we can shower this year lol!
