i drew the paulo/lucy picture years ago tbh, not really on board with the ship anymore (cause i prefer pauloxrachel and pauloxdaisy shh)

augustus x lucy is cute for sure, and i definitely would not mind that being endgame, but i prefer them as friends~ 

if im being completely honest with myself i love mikexlucy (gasp) but don't know if i want it to be endgame for ... obvious reasons if you've been keeping up haha

And screw Mike with a rusty pipe he deserves what he's getting. He threw what he could of had with Lucy away for the image of a gf. "Oh she's so pretty!" From their "date" those 2 are about as compatible as mountain dew and bananas >.> everything HE wanted to do with her is what he did with Lucy and which Lucy would've LOVED doing with with him. I supported them until he got a stick up his arse. He pushed her away not because she was so violent. It's because Sandy TOLD him she didn't like her and that SHE didn't like how Lucy was violent with him even though he was fine with it and had fun with her. All to impress his mighty "goddess." You saw how fast he went to apologize when she didn't want to run with him? HE shouldn't of apologized. Got I have so much pent up rage (as I'm sure you can tell) cause he done goofed SO BADLY....hell even when he was talking to Lucy when he staliked her after school the MOMENT Sandy's name got brought up look at how his old hostility towards Lucy surfaced. Sandy is his trigger and he deserves what he's getting

and aah, i'm glad ;v; rachel is best girl imo so i felt bad when she wound up developing feelings for paulo while he was still stuck on lucy.. as much as i adore the ship, i think she deserves better than that situation and i'm glad she's trying to move on (so i guess i want pauloxdaisy to be endgame for him at this point)

and oh man i used to adore mikexsandy, thought it was cute as shit, but her constant lack of contact with him and that date just made me really dislike the ship :/ plus her snapping at mike for being playful was kind of dumb (i also really disliked that he apologized since he did nothing wrong, aND SHE DIDN'T EVEN TELL HIM HE HAD NOTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR), and then when she started randomly crying before she left??? that was really weird and kinda suspicious. i'd like to get to know more about sandy though since she's still largely a mystery, but i mostly find mikexsandy to be kind of a boring dynamic and really unhealthy for mike at this point so i want them to break up.

and i dunno, i never really felt like sandy's dislike of lucy was the sole reason as to why mike went apeshit on lucy in december, or his sole reason for distancing himself from her period. i certainly agree that she played a role, but i feel like the acapulco chapters are really what triggered mike's anger towards lucy. specifically when lucy thought mike died and he came back to see her clinging to paulo; it made him feel like he wasn't ever anything significant to her, just someone to cling to that could be easily replaced (i don't agree with his assumption, but i'm sure that's how he felt). his feelings were only further solidified when lucy confessed, got rejected, and then rebounded to paulo (and also the fact that she chose to confess after he was taken). and then again when sandy made mike realize that lucy's violent and rude behavior actually was problematic, and that if she truly was his friend, she would treat him better. 

i honestly mostly feel bad for all of the characters involved, though. i think they all fucked up in their own ways (mike by being a huge ass to lucy in december, and constantly comparing her to sandy; lucy by being a violent jerk for ... the majority of their friendship), but i do agree that mike really needs to stop being so defensive and hostile towards his friends when it comes to sandy :/ it's not fair to them, but i honestly think it just speaks volumes about how truly insecure he is about their relationship.

ideally, i'd like for lucy and mike to become friends again, at the very least ... i'm just not completely on board with it though because of lucy's suicide attempt. that's ... a really hard thing to come back from, and i guess i just feel like associating with the person that played a major role in why a person decided to attempt suicide, just shouldn't be around them. 

it just sucks to think about though, because if it weren't for all of the dumb mikexsandy shit (or if mike would have at least completely let it go after she left for literally years, especially since they were just kids lmao), and perhaps if lucy had tried to be nice and honest earlier on, they would've been a real cute ship ;__; i really do adore their dynamic, since in the earlier comics, when they had mutual feelings for each other, it was really sweet and cute. I mean, they loved each other so much that they basically attempted to save each other's lives (Lucy for Mike during Confrontation and Mike for Lucy when they fell off the bridge in one of the Acapulco chapters). Because of that, I would love for them to move past all the shit and be together, but i just can't get past lucy's suicide attempt. 

and ahahah, your pent up rage is totally understandable P: i want to yell at these cats sometimes myself lol
