You're right in that I hadn't checked this site in forever...
I hope you went ahead with whatever you needed permission for. I'm a very laid back guy for the most part and don't sweat people using my characters or settings or the like as long as they source the original. Or copy things to reddit and pretend it is theirs - that wasn't amusing when it happened.

Ha. You think I'm bad here? I haven't updated my facebook account in years either, despite trips and weddings and vacations and all sorts of stuff. I know it really annoys some of my friends. I did update my LinkedIn a month or so ago though. lol. But that's for jobs, resumes, and experience networking. Not what most consider fun stuff!

Oh, you know, things come and go. Trying to swap jobs recently, but that's neither here nor there.
One thing I can be happy about, though, is how the rewrite of COA:ACO still holds up. I'm usually very critical of my own work, especially a year or so after I finish with something, which is why I wasn't happy with the original COA. The ACO remake, though, cleared up a lot of my issues. It is very nice, very encouraging, to look back on something and think "Good. Good. I can leave that as-is and be fine."
Sadly, with the state of Sonic stuff, I don't have that much interest in that world anymore.
Occasionally I check in and try and see if there's anything that gets my blood pumping, but so far, nothing. Kind of a dud.

I made a picture of Ritterkreuz from your story This Platinum Crown. I used a (pony oc creator because I cant draw for shit). I am greatly enjoying your story, and Ritterkreuz is easily one of my favorites, so on a spur of the moment type thing, I decided, why the hell not. And made this.

COA, especially after the re-write of ACO, came together very nicely. Plus, if I had never bothered with it so long ago, even in that first iteration, I may not have bothered getting involved with fanfiction at all. Which would be a shame, as it has led me to meet quite a few great fellow writers and some canny artists as well!

In fact, I'm in the process of writing it. However, it is still "in progress" and I like to only begin releasing things once I'm sure of the near-finished product. My current plan is for it to be about the same length of BNE, and to cover some rather messy problems that arise for our would be royal couple. The biggest hurtle is whether to go the comedy route again. I'm having a tough time keeping things comedic with the overarching story I want to cover.

Yep. I do have ideas for a WoP sequel. But turning scattered ideas into a cohesive story takes time. I also have ideas for a potential "best night ever" sequel, and a 3rd story idea from a few months ago. There's just only so much time to plan and write, though!
