Hey there! Sorry, I unfortunately haven't really drawn any Septimus Heap artwork in years, plus I wanted to clean up some of my group memberships. I still love the series and may come back if I ever actually have submissions, but right now I feel horrible being in a group that I can't contribute to. Sweating a little...

It was pretty good actually. We had to model a space of our choice with 3-6 detailed objects, then animate 3 different rearrangements of said room. c: It was a nice little refresher.
Supposedly we have to model a horse for our first assignment though. .__.

It looks like a purely 3D class. o: Maybe we're doing 2D in a different class? He did say that they removed the 2D stuff a few years ago.
We ARE making a video game setting for our Finals though, so that should be fun. :) (Smile)

Well thankfully we have this whole semester to ultimately decide. c: But that sounds good!
I learned that there's a 3rd year for Animation Majors. >3>;; So we'll have to see if I'm willing to pay for another year or not..

My scanner, VERY ANNOYINGLY is STILL not working so all my posts have been on Muro. My fave of all of them is either. . . Untitled Drawing, Inside a Prophecy, or A Forest made of Bubbles. Check 'em out!
I can't really do people. Its the one thing I absolutely vaccum at drawing. Do you have anything you absolutely can NOT draw without making it look terrible?

Those are pretty awesome. o: "Inside a Prophecy" is really nice especially.

Well it takes a lot of practice right? :) (Smile) I'm pretty terrible with tree's and other types of foliage myself; I love drawing people, and I can sort of handle myself around animals... but drawing something like a bush with hundreds of little leaves and branches is incredibly hard for me. But when you draw something you're uncomfortable with over and over then after a while you'll get more comfortable with it. Same applies if you want to draw people better. c:

True. I just think it's easier to make things, well not living. Plants, try making them on dAmuro. Its easier to try things when you use that, then try drawing it.

Well to be honest I don't really use Muro. Sweating a little... A lot of my drawings that require plants and trees are done traditionally with pencil, and everything else is drawn in Paint Tool Sai... I don't know, I personally feel like Muro drawings depend a lot on specialty brushes, which I don't really like.

Good point. I try drawing with pencil. I'm okay with that. I'm working on shading. But if Muro doesn't work for you, then I find it's really makes it easier if you try, drawing, then coloring, and paper cutting, and painting, knowing how to do one thing in many different art forms makes it easier to do in a particular one.
