It was so cool seeing him again though!! With new voice lines ;u;
and did he work on Aperture tag? Cause he worked on Mel, so maybe he wasn't able to get the voice actor or something??  Or maybe cause Virgil is more well known?

Well, Harry was part of the team that made Aperture Tag, maybe they just couldn't get a hold on Chris Moral, the voice of Nigel. Or maybe Nigel is in the upper levels of Aperture, working his testing track, and doesn't have any contact to the corrupted cores. Or maybe they just don't like him, like so many fans xD Virgil is really popular, he's cute and funny after all. Nigel on the other hand is unpopular as hell, because he betrayed you at the end. I like Nigel, but I'm the minority, I guess.

Always out to please the fans xD well, that's how the world rolls after all. I'd like to see something about Nigel, though. I've been having a discussion about that one test chamber where suddenly the metal music starts playing. Everybody, including me, interpreted Nigel as this wannabe rebel metal kid, but the way he freaks out is kind of ambiguous. Either he really is how we imagine him, and maybe worried that his music went off by accident, or he is one of those super-conservative types (he doesn't really rebel to anything except being bratty to other invisible cores and then going back to obeying the rules?) and thinks metal music is bad and so on.
We can't really decide though. I like my version of him, so I won't change it, but still.

That's actually the first real pc game I play now so maybe that's why I'm so bad at the controls xD I'll get used to it I guess.

I only played pokemon as a kid and animal crossing and so on so I'm just used to consoles. But I'm improving x)

I see, yeah my dad loves video games so I grew up with them and I would always play his games haha. So video games are big at my house. It will take a bit but I'm sure you'll figure it out

Yeah, I started playing it and it's really different. Like how you solve the tests and the pacing are very different. I don't like it as much as portal. But I love solving puzzles... so I'm about that

My brothers had those old games for the SNES and N64 but later it was just shooters and that's not my kind of thing.

lmao I was literally just searching for a page with all of Virgils voice lines ;n; which I thought there would have because it's such a popular gameeeeee.... But how long has Aperture Tag been around? Or is it because it has such a small fanbase?

Chell is different every time for me..... But for some reason I tend to draw virgil mostly the same..... and that's weird cause im never consistent

I was planning that anyway, so there's none. It's more work than one thinks but even 4 and a half minute into aperture I feel like i've got a better grip on how Nigel talks, what is typical for him and so on. He's got not really an accent but a slightly unique way of pronunciation that I didn't notice before.

Well my traditional sketches for it were crappy, so maybe that's it xD I'm excited to share that when it's done, even though it's for my AU again. I'm using a simpler style for it too because everything else would probably kill me in the long run.

Well yeah, I'm currently switching between various youtube videos. Some have the subtitles on that speeds things up a lottle, but the same video didn't have the first toilet easter egg and for God's sake Nigel, stop muttering, I don't understand a word of what you're saying! -.-
Haha, well, that's about the only problem. I just realized we might as well ask harry Callaghan or the rest of the team if they still had the original text, but meh, now I've already started and I like to get a better grip on the character, since he appears in my AU so frequently.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do what. i really like these consecutive panels where only a few smaller things change, but it's important? I'm about done with three pages and it looks really cool actually, but I haven't done the first page yet so I can't uplaod anything ^^" Wheatley looks different from what I draw him like usually o_O And Chell will be my nightmare again I'm afraid. Haha yeah i do even if it's just a short one. Idk how much you read on the blog but Wheatley has that scar over his eye, right? The comic is about how he got it. (Also, movement is soo difficult to show.)

To be honest, it looks ridiculously hard anyway. I'm currently stuck on the last test chamber in Portal 1 and too proud to look up the solution x_x haha, whatevr I'll get to it. And the script is going well too.

Movement of people. I need a panel where someone falls to the floor after being pushed, and possibly the push itself. The artist of the blue sky webcomic makes it look so easy but non-static artworks are sooo difficult.

I feel you.... for portal 2 and Portal Stories Mel, I was stuck on so many but only looked up 2 ;n; I couldn't figure them out at all. I felt bad but like after looking at the answers, I realized I probably wouldn't have figured them out anyways.... meh

Idk, when I first watched Portal as an Lp I was like *holy shit* I would NEVER get that idea but now I'm so far already... I guess I'm gonna try for like an hour and then be frustrated haha. I'm usually kinfa patient but now I'm just kinda insulting poor GLaDOS xD

It trains you! Its pretty cool like that! You can do it! Dont worry, I totally understand..  I'm playing one of the original HL games, and its just so old ;n; So basically I play for 5-10 minutes, get frustrated and then quit.... Theres like barely any health in the game!!

Umm... I'm not sure if it's storage space? I think it's because I'm used to the games of now. So like the fighting in this game is different because I'm used to hiding behind things in between shots so I don' loose health, and theres not much to protect yourself with in this game. And also there are so many battles which I loose a lot of health in ;n; and so little health. like I swear I'm never at full health. And I'm just not used to the old gameplay in general. I think that's why I think it's hard??? haha I'm not really sure though

Portal is my first PC game and all I've played before that was Pokemon haha xD So no idea. It was just something I heard, but I think it was about like SNES games and so on. I always had the feeling they were so freaking hard, like I didn't get past stage three or so in Mario Kart 64 xD But then again I'm not very talented.

Really? I feel like a lot of stuff is censored over there?? I remember reading that half life was censored and nobody died, they just sat down when they were beaten, or something similar haha. I had some gba game you had to take care of animals in a soet of animal hitel and I played for hours and hours and didn't get further than level 2 and didn't care. But seen from now, the music alone would be enough to make me crazy. Kids are weird.

No idea. I heard that too but I haven't seen a European version yet. Idk by now people have become more open-minded I think so it's not such a big deal anymore. My steam is in english though because Portal voice acting, yeah!

Sure. Portal was released in several languages I think. I first watched an Lp of Portal 1 in German but then I read Wheatley sounded so adorable and I switched to English. The dub is actually pretty good, much better than that of most movies or series I've seen, but I just like the original voices more. They sound more involved, and really get the emotions across.
I found a video where you can hear Wheatley's evil laugh (and some of the text before that) in a bunch of languages like Spanish or Russian or German. That was fun, especially since Wheatley speaks another language for a moment and they had to change that over the dubs.

Hmmm.. I feel like I would rather listen to it in the original language with the assumption that since they made it, they put more thought into the voice actors. But I was like that with anime too, I always listened to the subbed version. There are very few that I like of the dubbed versions.. But I have to admit, for Ghibli movies, they did a good job with voice actors, and got like big names to star in them. 
I wonder what Glados would sound like in different languages...  But yeah, Stephen Merchant did such a good job. He did a good job at portraying like, his goofiness... haha
Aaa! I just watched it! Idk if it was because I couldn't understand it, but they seemed to have less emotion, but I think that's just because I'm unfamiliar with the languages.. And I was kind of picky about the laugh haha. Also it was kind of cool when they did the spanish part in English :3
But damn... I remember the first time I played that game and I got to that scene, I was so excited I was going to get out. And then the music started to change and I was like 'oh no... please wheatley don't turn evil' ;n; I was so heartbroken

I prefer the original version too, as long as I understand the language. Some animes have really good English dubs too, Hellsing ultimate for example. They put a lot of effort unto ut with voice coaches for all the different accents and I enjoyed it.
Nobody beats Stephen Merchant, really. I didn't like the German version, it was not terrible but also not great. I'm picky about evil laughs as well because they have to be awesome
Otherwise it gets ridiculous.
Me too ;n; i was like "Nooooooo Wheatley don't be evil I love you!!" The music is really cool though

I thought the Hetalia dub was pretty good. I also liked the Kill la Kill from what I've seen. I think I also liked the Attack on Titan. but offhand I can't really think of what I've watched haha.
Yeah I know! and his laugh from normal to completely evil was such a good transition ;u; 
yeah the music really was perfect and really made the scene perfect. It was a good reflection of the scene

Yeah, I really liked Hetalia too... The dub was neat. I like accents in English, so maybe that's why. I also enjoyed Hellsing Ultimate, the dub was very good. In general, the English dubs tend to be better than the German ones. The English voice actors just sound more passionate, while in the german dubs I sometimes don't buy into their acting. Or I just dislike their voice for the character. There are pretty good dubs too, but it's the minority.
That music *o* I love it. I was so flustered, and scared, even though it was just a let's play, but when Wheatley started to laugh I fangasmed a little bit. I absolutely adore evil laughter for a reason I don't understand.

haha, yeah that was like my first anime and my main fandom for a couple years. I actually left like 2 years ago when I discovered video games and other animes haha. I dunno, I know we have a whole business for voice actors, maybe it's not as serious over there. 
Omg, dude, I was crying on the inside at that point ;n; haha I was too sad, but it sounded so natural...
