Favorite visual artist: I have sooo many favs, but I will say that I love emerging and young artisans the best. I am a grandmother of 9, and children inspire me, truly. :)Favorite movies: I have such a varied and diverse interest level that it would be hard to pin point just a few. I do love Asian drama & shows about the Asian way of life. So peaceful!
Favorite TV shows: I don't watch TV. To busy being creative, and doing 'other' things.
Favorite bands / musical artists: I pretty much love all forms of music with the exception of rap, and Tibetan Monk chanting.

Favorite games: World of Warcraft
Favorite gaming platform: World of Warcraft
Tools of the Trade: Paintbrushes, Pencils, Quill Pens, Photoshop, Wacom, and MANY others :)
Other Interests: I am a child of the earth, not particularly religious, but deeply spiritual. My interests revolve around my sanctuary, the woodlands which surround us, my family, and all things of the natural world and nature. I am always learning.

Mmmm I have a question for my feather artist idol. I recently found an eagle feather in my grandmother's garden this past fall, just... laying there. At the time I didn't know if it was actually an eagle feather, but I searched Google to realize that it was.
I hate that its just sitting on my desk collecting dust, I thought... that it would be REALLY neat to turn this beautiful feather into a quill.
However, I want to USE IT! Being a college student, the old fashion quills will not work haha too much dipping not enough time. I have a calligraphy pen with ink refills and was curious if there was a way to integrate the calligraphy pen into the feather and still make it look wonderful like the ones you create.
Thoughts? i have no idea how to go about doing this other than with glue... course that leaves me with the.... how do i refill the pen... HAHA

I'm feeling so sad I can't buy any of these wonderful feathers and quills o_o I think I try and make one for myself, and i wish it will be at least half as wonderful as yours O.O (I tried it about a year ago.. But just with watercolor paint, not acrylic. The result was.. quite funny. ^^)

I wish i could have one of your feather pens to hang them on the wall and delight myself with looking on it. You really have a talent to add little extras and details to them. They seldom look overdone, even when theres a whole lot of it.

Do you have a webpage/shop? I really like your quills. How do you add the patterns on them if I may ask? I could imagine painting them on won't last very long, must be difficult.

Actually, I do paint all of my pens by hand. And it lasts as long as the quill is loved & cared for.
