I love your concert photos so much!
I've been trying to get decent pictures of my concerts with my Canon Rebel. Since there's not much light, I've had to use manual setting. I was wondering what settings and stuff you use to get decent lighting in your shots?

Hey! Thanks for the compliments. Really appreciate it. Most of the time in my shots I just try to keep my ISO reasonably high (I actually like the grainy look you get) and bounce my on-camera flash to get high enough shutter speeds without over-lighting the shot, like most conventional flashes tend to cause. Other than that it's mostly playing around in Photoshop or Lightroom afterwards to get the look I'm going for.

Yeah. I do shoots for local blues bands in Cape Town, South Africa. Mostly at collab concerts and such, but also for private performances.

My family is good friends with one of the larger blues bands in the country. One festival I went along with my camera and organised a backstage pass. Put the photos on Facebook and things just kind of took off from there :) (Smile)
