Well, it's an offshoot of !UrbanCowgirl804 's Disney High Universe.  The essential idea there is that the sidekick/teacher characters (Sebastian the Crab, Cogsworth and Lumiere, Baloo and Bagheera) are teachers in a high school where princes and princesses are students.  

In Milton Heights, more of these sidekick/teacher characters are residents of a single neighborhood.  Their interactions make for (we hope) interesting stories.  

I suppose, if you're looking for a more abstract idea, my initial thought was to show several different kinds of love and how they affect our lives.  That's pretty much the theme of all these interactions--extremely close platonic friendship, romantic love, sexual love, more distant friendships, familial love, and love that doesn't really fit into one box or the other.  I think I tried to make at least Block Party about flying in the face of the convention of "one true love," as if one love can consume us entirely and leave little for the rest of our family and friends.

This is probably more than you wanted to know and more pretentious than I wanted to make it, but I hope it answers your question!

I do believe we did. As you can easily imagine, it's been the highlight of mine, too. I'm pretty sure I was floating on a fluffy little pink cloud all around my office today.

Sorry for never replying and dropping off the face of the earth. I was a dumb shit and make a RP blog on tumblr that's taken up most of my time, plus I have a really wonky sleep and work schedule that keeps me off the computer for most of the day. AGAIN, I apologize for my absence.

Though this time it was a bit more...serious. A lot of family trauma happened in a very short amount of time and I had to step away from the addiction known as Deviantart to help support my mom...

Thank you so much for understanding and putting up with me. Long story short, two people died within a span of 24 hours around Christmas eve/day and my parents had to arrange both funerals...it was pretty hectic, so Im glad you're taking this so well C:
