In ancient China, adventurers travelled the great land, toiling on odd-jobs and dangerous requests for a chance to become renowned heroes. “Chatanz”, or roadside tea stalls, are shelters where adventurers resupply and exchange stories before setting off on the trails again. From this act, Chatanzes around the land became sites where stories and histories found continuity.
