Yes Kodocha has been around for a long time. Funimation brought out the first two seasons in the states but there are more that hasn't come out here.

yeah, i guess it's a relatively old series. But one of the best shoujo titles ever imho.

Kodocha came out in Japan back in 1996 and ended in 1998. I don't think the US got ahold of it till 2001 or 2002 b/c in either the first or second episode Sana congratulates that band member for a 2001 award (english version of course)anyhow, just throwing my useless trivia out there XD

ahhhh I see. Yeah, it's one of my favorites... though I STILL haven't seen the episodes not available in the U.S. I've gotta find somewhere that has them because there's so much of the story I haven't seen.
