I dream, and work at being as great as you are (as far writing good horror is concerned). I'm already working on my debut novel. When I found out you had a deviantart I flipped out. I've been a huge fan of yours since my step dad told me to read the great and secret show which I absolutely loved. Right after I finished the great and secret show I read Mister B. Gone in less than two days which is now my all time favorite book. I'm going to be starting Imajica soon which I also cannot wait to do! You're my biggest role model as well as the reason I hope to one day be a writer/artist. Hi there!

I was just informed of this page and I'm sad I didn't know about it sooner. My mom is a fan of your's, and up to a certain point she'd been to all of your book signings. She has very fond memories of you drawing a little skull for her personalized in one of the books - according to her it was at a signing where you had become more popular, and there was some form of rush or otherwise "non personalization" going on, but you did it anyhow, and it made her real happy. She always tells it with such glee because the regulator (or whatever you would call the person overlooking it) looked so irked that you had done it anyhow.

Personally, you're a name I've grown up with in the household, and I hope that I'll be able to dive into Mom's collection some day.
