I'm juggling pet shop work and caring for a house full of
animals, along with a sorta abusive, mentally unstable grandma. :/

Yup...Growing up I was bullied constantly for how I got raised but
got knocked into nasty reality when I was 12 when they didn't want to help me and my family or
even LET US have a funeral for my grandfather (he was a more lenient JW)
just because of his past alcoholism he beat...never got to properly tell
him goodbye. Never got to have a viewing. He went straight to the crematorium.

Been an agnostic/atheist mix ever since. :T

Religion can make people fucking terrible, man.

God I'm sorry to hear that. There's nothing worse than a loved one not getting the proper respects they deserve, especially considering what he went through to get better, alcohol is not an easy habit to kick. I usually don't have problems with the religious but when it comes to shit like that I lose faith in humanity. A similar thing happened when my father passed a couple of years ago (minus the religious portion)I still don't know where he was spread at.

Yeah he turned to these people many years before
during hard times but struggled with it. When they found out he drank
they booted him from the congregation. Then they did that to us after.
....

I'm an equalist down the line. In my military time I've seen both men and women of all stripes and ethnicities both rise to the occasion and royaly fuck people over, so my reservation comes down to the individual, the job being done and how well someone does it. Yup I am. And we plan on getting married at The Gathering Of The Juggalos
if we manage to scrape up the money and an RV to go.

We managed to get back to Florida after my 3-month stay in Indiana
right before Xmas because a family member isn't doing well. It was fun,
especially since I never saw snow before. Loved it!

As for work, I'm searching like crazy, at least until I know if I get work as
a bartender or dancer at the gay bar my man and some friends work at as bouncers.
