# About me
Hi,since I'm finally painting and sketching and drawing again, I guessed that I could start an account here for the heck of it.
I've been painting since I was a child and started art school at the age of four, I believe. I specialise in pencil sketches and traditional oil paintings mostly (plus some acryl, but that's more of a "I don't have time for the paint to dry and it has to be done by tomorrow morning"-thing) - my digital art attempts are not really good and I don't like painting that way. My motto is usually "The bigger, the better" and these days I actually have problems to go smaller than 90x70cm for my paintings.
I mostly paint people I find interesting (actors, musical & opera singers with interesting/beautiful) faces) nowadays, but was majorly focussed on animal studies before that. For me, the most important part is, though, that I have some kind of connection to the thing I'm drawing or painting and that it's not boring portaits, but rather faces and gestures that draw you in and invite you to search for the story behind them when looking at the pictures.
Apart from that I dabble in writing, singing etc. (You can find my yearly NaNoWriMo attempt blog thingy linked as website.)
So, yeah, enjoy.
