How Corrupted Cats began:
The concept was originally Rachel ( )'s idea alone. The cats were not supernatural in any way, and were just like any other regular Warrior Cats fan characters. However, Rachel began incorporating different powers and abilities into her cats when she began roleplaying with Tabby ( ), who also had Warriors fan characters of her own, but they did not have supernatural abilities. The roleplays were not quite as serious and dramatic as they are today. They were originally just for fun (and still are!) but involved characters from other movies, such as Alvin and The Chipmunks.
At this time Rachel was also roleplaying with Sky ( ), although their roleplays had nothing to do with Warriors, but rather characters from "Sonic The Hedgehog", "Wall-e", "Cars", and the Animal Planet show, "Meerkat Manor."
All three CC writers would not have met each other and become such good friends, were it not for the Meerkat Manor fan site that they had all joined and become so fond of. So, everyone was understandably saddened when the site was shut down and they no longer knew where to find each other.
Thankfully, a couple months later, Rachel was able to find Tabby again through MSN Messenger. They resumed their roleplay games, over time they grew more serious and dramatic. The Clan that they had created together was officially named MidnightClan, and other rival Clans were made by Rachel, such as MoonlightClan. It was also at around this time that Rachel began to establish the particular species of supernatural cats, splitting up the powers between the Immortal Ones, Angelicats, Demonicats, and, much later, Diclonius Cats (inspired by the anime, "Elfen Lied" ).
Some time later, Rachel found Sky again through Messenger as well. They also quickly grew to love roleplaying with each other again, but it remained very humorous and fan-character based until Sky introduced her Warriors fan character, Sunfire. Rachel decided that Sunfire should get to meet one of her own characters, and introduced Goldstripe. The two quickly became a couple, and through Sunfire's meeting the rest of the Clan, Sky was able to grow more familiar with the supernatural world that Rachel and Tabby had created. More characters were brought in after Sunfire's joining, and as their ideas grew together, more species were made (Such as Dark Ones, Light Ones, and now Cursed Ones), the history of the various species were established, and soon enough, all three had created an ongoing Warrior Cats drama.
It was around 2009 that Rachel decided to name she and her friends' saga of supernatural warriors, "Corrupted Cats."
