Ehhhh, depend on what you mean by alive. People still submit stuff here, and I try to be active on it by getting everything through promptly, but I was a teen in college when I took over and I'm not an adult working two jobs. Sad to say, the internet has become a much smaller focus in my life so this group no longer does things like contests or big projects. I just wouldn't have time.

I can live without the contests and projects, just as long as the group is still actively submitting and sharing fanart and fanfictions. As I get further along in my Fan-novel, I'm more than likely going to post it to my dA account and I really want to get it into a group. That's honestly the only way to find good fanfictions or have your fictions discovered on this site.

Making a group is very easy. Only a few simple steps.
1. Go to your profile
2. Click on the arrow in the upper left hand corner next to where it says, 'deviantART'
3. Click on 'Groups'
4. Click on, 'Make a group' at the top of the page.
After that, you just follow the steps of filling in the name of the group and so forth. XD Very easy.

Most people don't pair him up when he's still a teen though. You'll find most of the art or stories is when he is an adult. Besides, this is a club for platonic art.

In reality, neither of them are a teenager or adult, really. They're just drawings and sound bits. I don't see the harm. If you do, then I wouldn't suggest this club to you.

Anyway, here showed me this convo, and....well....I have such an urge to track down wherever this retard lives and smack the living daylights out of them. This is a FICTIONAL PAIRING, it's not like we're all: "WOOOO GO PEDOPHILIA, CHILD RAPE FOR THE WIN!!!!"
And like Az said, there are children all around the world getting married at the tender age of 12 or 13 to older men and no one really cares. But a fictional pairing? OHGODCALLTHEMEDIA!111one
The point is, we should all like what we like. In the fictional world (and sometimes reality), age doesn't really matter as long as there's chemistry and a lot in common.

People just aren't gonna get it sometimes, you know? And I know. "Enemies have no chemistry!" What? How does that work out?
I support almost any pairing, and even those that I don't I just ignore or at least try to try once before I go "Okay, this isn't for me, but you feel free to enjoy it to your heart's content. " Pariah/Danny is an example. I just can't seem to get behind it, but I wouldn't knock anyone for being a fan.

There's guys and there's girls. They like people of different genders or same gender. Although, CHILD isn't one. People that go after a child are pedophiles.
Still, it's kind of annoying when, you hear about pedos in the news, it's gross. In the fandoms of show, pedophiles are sudden okay. Isn't that a bit gross?

There are Sam/Danny clubs out there as well. There are also Danny/Dash clubs, and Danny/Valerie clubs, OC/Danny clubs, and Danny/Tucker clubs. Hell, there's probably a club for almost every pairing on this show, including characters that are only featured in one or two episodes. I run a Dan/Clockwork club myself, and there is a Vortex/Nocturne club. Those two never even meet, but it's a very popular coupling nontheless.
You should probably take into account, people on the news are REAL people. They aren't a concept that was just created by a man in an office with a bunch of paper, pencils, and an imagination. Besides, people who worked on the show, like the writer, has been quoted to say he doesn't mind at all if people pair Danny with anyone. It's just showing an interest in the show.
Besides, look at morality. Today it's wrong for someone to be in an adult relationship until they are 18 (or 16, depending on what state you are in) yet only a hundred or so years ago, girls were getting married and having children when they were much younger. Look back just a little farther, and they were getting married practically the day they got their first period, around 11 or so for most. It's 'wrong' now for such a thing, sure, but why? Because a whole bunch of people decided it, and everyone else has just been conditioned, that's why.
I don't think the concept of Danny and Vlad being in a relationship it wrong, no. I run this club after all. People are shipping Danny and his sister or mother after all, and I don't go and hassle them. People like what they like.
Again, I suggest if that is not your cup of tea, go elsewhere. But I can assure you we've heard this points before, and no one has had a revelation of "You're right, it's so wrong," since the whole anti-fan vs. true-fan fiasco has started. This is our club, and we're happy with it.

What I'm saying is, real life, pedophiles are sick. But if it's for a fandom, SUDDENLY there's no problem? People like seeing a old man date a 16 old boy? Although I think him dating his mom and sister is weird too. Really wondering who thought those where a good idea.
And I'm REALLY wondering if the creator intended for fans to make Danny dating his enemy. Isn't that a bit...making them out of character?
