I think the smaller looking Draygons are his children (My friend ultimate ridley thinks theyre his hoes XDDDDDD)

Hes the king of his clan of shrimp-LIKE species called Evirs.
I think its entirely possible that Draygon placed the cannons in the room himself, but I believe they are powered by plasma rather than electricity.

I don't think that Draygon put the cannons there, he always struck me as just a creature, like kraid, you know, native to the planet, the Chozo probably left those cannons there, most of the place is chozo ruins anyways.
