# About me

I'm a native-born Californian transplanted to the midwest. I love the bellowing barks of sea lions, old creaky fishing boats, and watching sea gulls fight over the last french fry. I also love thunderheads rolling over a bright blue sky, fireflies, and the smell of freshly mown hay under a golden sun. I'm a soccer fan, a mad scientist, and a patron of the arts. I went to school for education, and came out with a theatre degree. It's far more useful than you think.

I've been an artist as long as I can remember. Art with pencils and chalk and paint, yes, but also with words. With fabrics and textures and gestures. I'm an adult, but I still play with costumes and play doh.
