So you commented on a DD "The Left Hand Path is the only path.".

Sad how proudly you show your ignorance:

'Ecclesiastes 10:2 - A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left.'

So hows it feel to be a fool?

How does it feel to know that people like you are the reason so many people criticize Christianity and it's followers? How does it feel to know that your entire belief system is based on outdated nonsense?

I grew up in a Christian home, I've heard it all, I've read it all. There is something fundamentally wrong with a religion, and it's sheep when they don't see anything wrong with the idea that a "God" would grant you free will, and then command you to use it exactly as you are told.

So who's the real fool here? Those of us who think for ourselves, or those of you who (in all likelihood) don't question what some preacher shoves down your throat?

Christianity isn't a religion for me, it's a reality.

I don't go to a church because I don't learn anything from any of them.

I study the original Hebrew and Greek translations.

Your comments are simply based on lack of life experience.

"A lack of life experience" huh? Interesting. You know nothing about my life, with the exception that I believe Christianity is a joke, yet you feel you can judge my life and my experiences. This, good sir, is a prime example (again) of why Christians are ridiculed. I very much doubt you have experienced the things I have, but if you would like to compare life experience, I'm more than willing to do so.

But since we're talking about reality, you have to admit that people like myself (and "Satan") are the sole reason your religion even exists. Face it, without the ability to point fingers and judge everyone around you, your entire system would collapse. That being said, even your religion is constantly changing and bending it's own rules so suit the times. Everything in the Bible is "open to interpretation" when it's convenient for the church. The entire system is hypocritical, and is essentially (to put it in internet terms) the biggest troll in history.

I started a black magic cult 18 years ago, then woke up to the truth.

That's why I am a Christian. I learned that God, Jesus, and Satan are all real.

I'll leave it at that.

Well I'm happy for you. Whatever helps you sleep at night is your prerogative. However, you "waking up to the truth" does not mean you need to preach to everybody. Rest assured, if we want to be preached at, we'll let you know.

DangerKitty001 In reply to subtronik [2012-02-02 06:08:55 +0000 UTC]

I don't know how old you are, so I may very well be a child to you. However, my ID says I'm 20, and having grown up in a military family where I moved every three years, spent a total of five years in Italy, three in England, and am currently residing in South Korea, I'd say I know quite a bit. In fact I'm willing to bet that I'm far more well-rounded than most people, yourself included.

Your posts are immature, sir. Learn to accept the fact that not everyone is willing to listen to your testimonial, and that you WILL have it thrown back in your face. Man up, and stop acting like a five year old who's been denied their favorite cereal.

"I'm willing to bet that I'm far more well-rounded than most people, yourself included"

Let's see here... in the U.S. I've lived in Tampa Florida, Savanna Georgia, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Seattle Washington, Portland Oregon, Sacramento California, and San Fransisco California.

Overseas I've lived in Izmir Turkey, and London England. I've also traveled throughout Switzerland, and Germany.

World travel doesn't make you wise or cool... it simply exposes you to other cultures where you may (or many not) learn that MOST people on this planet want the same things as the rest of us. A home, love, family, friends, work, etc..

By the way, you do realize that all DA members have the option to block any member anytime right?

I bet you're just desperately trying to use one or more of these feeble tactics to:

1) make me angry
2) make me feel inferior
3) contradict myself
4) doubt myself

If any of these were even slightly effective, it would mean that I do not believe in my God 100%, His plan, Jesus Christ, intelligent design, Lucifer, or the 'spiritual sleep state' you and others like you are perpetually in.

It's funny how leftist agendas always seem doable in theory, but once applied in the real world, almost always fail. Keep it up though

Here's a little something I'm sure you (and a majority of Christian denominations) don't know:

Easter is actually a pagan fertility ritual - [link]

Yes, I'm aware that I have the option to block you, but frankly, I find that blocking is a cheap way out. I'm not attempting to do any of the things you mentioned. You tried to call me out on my beliefs, and I decided to roll with it. However, you hit the nail on the head; YOUR God, not mine. Feel free to believe whatever you want, I really don't care.

What "leftist agenda" might that be? I'm intrigued.

Actually I was already aware, but thanks anyway. Christianity has this thing with overshadowing pagan holidays. (Such was the case of the church moving Christmas to December to overshadow the pagan holiday Yule, celebrating the solstice). Christianity isn't very original.
