So how goes the studies, what kinda of design are you going for?
Now that I look at your art more... You really enjoy ripping peoples chests open dont you? Actually, I think it's cool how you do it. It really stretches and bends the mind. The expressionism behind the brush.

The studies go well. And I guess I don't really know what kind of design i'm going for.. if you mean style wise. I'm working towards get my BFA in Illustration.
And yes, there are a lot of chests being ripped open. I drew all of those when I was experiencing a lot of heart ache.. and thats just came out of the pencil when I was trying to draw out those feelings. In both senses of the word.

Yeah, I hear you there. I'm not sure what I really want to focus on either. I kinda just do whatever suits my tastes. I like abstract vector illustration alot, especially in poster designs.
Heartache. Reading that paragraph makes me want to sit down, light up a cig, and just chill with a glass of scotch. Sorrow is a powerful emotion though, and reflects it through the artists minds, as it links to the hand, as it links to the canvas, as it all links to peoples minds/hearts. (Damn I need ta' write that one down.)
At least you spoke of it in a past tense.

Sorrow is a powerful emotion. Putting it onto paper is one of the only ways I can deal with it. But I always love how it turns out in the end. It's like a nice catharsis.

I hear ya' there dude. I crank my headphones, and just melt into my work. After hours pass, I come back with something new learned. It's calming, and breaks your mind away from things. Composing is like dreaming, only you're awake.
Revelations, Reflections, and eh... Some other R word to make this all sound good. Rejuvenation? Rigamortis?

So, how's getting your book published going?

My work is being showed in this book. It's not necessarily mine. But the publishers said that it was going to be released in january. I keep checking the website, but I have not heard back from them yet.

Hmmm. There could be alot of reasons why you haven't received word on the book yet. What do you think?
I went to the mall today and bought myself a case of cherry 7-up.
It was a nostalgic impulse
I like pouring it into a clear glass, topped of with some ice. Red bubbles. It looks nifty.
Randomness~

I have absolutely no idea. But oh well. It should be out soon.
Nostalgic impulses are fun. Just the other day, I was opening an Amazon account for buying textbooks, and I found a copy of Wolhelm von Eschenbach's Parzival that was pretty cheap. I bought it just because it was one of the best books I ever had to read in highschool. It's begging me to read it again... but I have a couple other books waiting in line first. lol.

Stale Energy.
What do you think? Well, let me tell a quick story first.
I was out with my friend Mike, and he introduced me to this girl named Sandra. We hit it off pretty good, and had a nice evening. I kissed her goodnight, and had her phone number. It was awesome.
The passing week I try to contact her, but it doesn't seem to work out. The energy feels missing, and neither of us are interested in each other anymore, despite the night of us being all over each other.
So, in retrospective I'm thinking, are things like this an issue of residual dissolving of strong energy environments. I know times I have amazing conversations with people, but it feels like rolling a snowball down a hill. Catch my drift?
Hmm what do you think?

I do understand what you mean. I've always thought of those situations as merely an infatuation. They're like gunpowder. They'll sizzle like crazy, but burn off quickly. But Stale Energy seems to be a good way to explain it. It just makes me wonder though, what makes the energy stop? I think emotional energy is a lot like physical energy of a thing. It'll keep going unless something makes the energy stop, but in this case it's not gravity or a wall. Something causes the staleness, like air to bread. I just wish I could figure out what it was.
I was just in a situation like that. I still don't know what to make of it. Interesting that you suddenly ask me my thoughts on this. Hehe.
All you have to do it try building a snowman once it reaches the bottom of the hill.

I like the conversations that end up as bonfires. I'm not sure what makes it stop, it's best not to wonder and enjoy the moment.
"As I place my finger on her lips and say... shhh"
-Dozens of cliche flicks
Haha, So. Did you get any confirmation on your book yet?
Hmmm interesting I ask of your thoughts on a similar situation. The stars align themselves in odd ways, don't they? You have a good vibe though. You give positive feedback and convey interest. Conversation is so intricate, but alas limited at times.
I think I just wander too deeply into my own mental ocean. I'm going to drown one day. It'll be ecstatic. My guilt laden self reflections. Poetic though.
I'll be gone for a weekend. We'll catch up more when I get back. You can buy me lunch. Ciao~

I do too! It's definitely way more fun. And I do try to stay in the moment and not think about it, but it tends to get me late at night then my brain is free to wander. A bunch of skeletons were having a dance party in my closet last night, so I had my own until 3 in the morning. Not good when I have class in about, oh... 20 minutes, but at least I was able to go to sleep.
Still no news on the book sadly. After a week goes by, I will e-mail the publishers and ask them what is going on.
And I do have to agree, the stars align themselves in odd ways all the time. I'd like to think that all those strange and coincidental moments were random, but sometimes it feels that it was meant to happen. And thank you, for that lovely comment. It's always nice to hear that from nearly complete strangers.
I hope you have an awesome weekend.

I'm not strange. You're strange. Actually, crazy. But that's besides the point.
You had a dance party with a buncha' skeletons? That's... pretty metal dude.
I try to think realistic as well on things. I'm actually very skeptical on anything paranormal. But I don't disregard it. Anything is possible, and that's what makes life interesting. (Just most things are unlikely)
It's cold here.

Hehehehe.
And yes, the skeletons were pretty active. I even dreamt about them chasing me down these weird red hallways. o.0 I woke up with my heart nearly beating it's way out of my chest.
I'm the same way with the paranormal. Though, I have had some pretty weird experiences. Watching ouija board piece moving around the board with out either of us touching it. I still can't tell if my friend was magically messing with me or not. lol.
It's cold here too. There is a ton of snow outside.

Hmmm, was it a dream or nightmare? Dreams usually have some in-laden reference to subconscious feelings. Red hallways. Colors.~ -Bobbles- Red is my favorite color.
Yeah, Oujia boards are very interesting little things. I have weird paranormal inclinations myself. It involves constantly seeing or stumbling upon repeating clock patterns. Waking up to the clock saying 11:11, or some other pattern.
I think personally it's a subconscious conditioned response. But who know~ Maybe someone has been trying to tell me something.
I need to take a profile picture again. My smile always seems crooked and goofy. =/

Well, dreams and nightmares are technically the same thing. Nightmares are just dreams with scary content. I was pretty darn scared. Haha. Red is one of my favorite colors too. As is turquoise.
Sometimes that happens to me too with the clock. o.0 I tend to look at the clock whenever it's 9:11.
It's not exactly a pattern, but it always makes me think of that plane crash. My family knew people in that plane. It was a very sad day when we found out.

Blue is the most common favorite color of most people. I like red because it represents a passionate, fiery spirit. Mmm untameable temptatious fruits.
Hmmm yeah. The clocks thing is odd. I think it's best not to think about it. Premonitions and bad memories are usually best to leave cold. I like to cuddle up and be warm with the good memories.
It's 5:55 am... I need sleep. Lead the conversation towards something interesting. -bobbles head-

Red is just more fun. My room at home is painted red and purple. I find that those colors help stir up my creative spirit. I have the turquoise color in my hair and clothing mostly.
Sleep is always good. I don't get enough of that when I'm at school. There's just too much stuff to do, whether it's work or play. The other night my friends and I went to a showing of Dead Snow that they were having in the student center. It's a Norwegian horror flick about natzi zombies. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a horror film so much. It was both hilarious (on purpose, not only just because of the fake gore) and suspenseful. I'd definitely recommend it if you like those types of films.

Turquoise hair? Nifty dude. My room has barren walls, but it's decorated with my paintings, so there's lotsa colors
Hmmm Natzi zombies. I get a clockwork orange vibe when I think about it. Sleep... zzz... I need to reformat my pc. It's just so messy. A guilty pleasure. I save my valuable files, reformat, and reorganize.

My dorm walls are pretty white right now. It drives me crazy slightly, but I have been slowly collecting various drawings and pictures from friends to cover the blankness.
It's not at all like clock work orange.. though that was definitely an amazing book and movie. It's not as intense or twisted. It's just a cleverly funny bad horror film.
I have a friend who's obsessed with his computer. Besides reformatting everything once in a while, he'll completely take it apart and clean every piece. I just like watching. lol
