How does that blender work? You import models from the game somehow?

I import the models from the game, but it's a tedious process. It's much easier to get the .xps models that people share here on Deviantart and import those into Blender. You have to download a script called xnalara import/export. Tutorials for how to install blender scripts can easily be found online.

Fine, thanks. Been busy with life recently but I think I'll dive into more TWD soon. This season wasn't that great from my point of view, but episodes were ejoyable overall and we got some emotional scenes involving Clemy Cloo, so I'm ok with that.

j loved season 3 thought it was awesome. Better than season 2 for me, but I didn't like how Clem acted in that one and the deaths of every character felt ... disappointing. Β

I haven't tried with the DLC yet. I could talk with a few friends to see if it's possible but right now I don't feel like I need those models.

When you rip them they're essentially in an unknown format, as only the game can read it. You have to convert them to FBX or 3Ds using MilkShape or Autodesk or Blender.

I'm keeping an eye on various stuff from my favourite deviants and groups, so I'm always here even though I may seem totally absent.
I'm super excited for the announcement of Season 3. I can totally see some artworks being uploaded before the release. Just waiting to get more material that I can use.

Me too - I cannot wait for Season 3- it totally brought my walking dead muse back so I've started up my Clementine (s1) RP account again (even tho like no one RPs with her there LOL) and I've been rigging like the walking dead models I can find from my old computer's hard drive (the computer is broken but my dad got the hard drive and lets me dig though it for my things- I was so happy I managed to find Troy

I knew those models wouldn't be around for too long, especially when more and more people started using them. Fortunately I was able to extract them on my own but I'm feeling quite worried about S3 models...
I use Blender Cycles and Photoshop. SFM is great but my PC is crap. I can barely create complex compositions without having it scream for mercy. I feel quite comfortable with the workflow though. After all, I don't think you need world class programs to make good art as long as you put some meaning in what you're creating.

I got lucky that my old hardrive had my models still- I now have a FEW of the S2 models S1 models and wolf among us models-Β
I'm sad they're gone cause I had to go through a TON of work just to get them -_-; and now most of them aren't rigged either-Β
I want to get as many as possible but it seems not a lot of people have them. I have mostly MINOR characters, too, which really sucks ass for me, since I am planning on making an ENTIRE COMIC about TWD and TWAU ( it's more of an AU I don't think we'll have walkers or anything but it'll have something different that is problematic)Β
