I'm fortunate to still have some summer weather left here in North Carolina, but it is drawing to a close. It's a little chillier at night now, signaling the advent of Fall weather.

Fall has come and is nearly gone - there has been snow on the ground a few times, and frost each morning. Halloween ROCKED and I'm going to post photos from that soon - just gotta find a way to slow down time a bit so I can get to some of these things. Where IS the year going?!?? I blame aliens. Time-thieving aliens.

Yeah, I'm already hearing X-Mas music already. I can't stand X-Mas anymore.

It's started to cool down a bit, but we had a wonderful Indian Summer around Halloween. And no snow for at least another few months (which is part of the reason for my moving down here!)

I wore the same costume as last year (since I suddenly had last-minute plans that merited wearing full makeup and costume) and I fit into it better than last year! I guess the organics, the yoga, and the weight lifting is finally paying off!

You have a really great eye for small scale abstracts you know. I wish I has the same skill sometimes. I'm always amazed how you can make an abstract from everyday objects.

Maybe we can trade skillsets for a few weeks sometime - I'd love to be able to draw the funky details that you put in your drawings. Even just little sections of your drawings are nice little abstracts.
