nice work. i watched some of your films. 'ghosts' and 'friends' were wonderful! grandview, eh? i'm familiar with grandview.

Thanks for watching. I live in Hilliard but we spent a lot of time in Grandview as the film club meetings were held at the library. After the meetings we tended to hang at Stauff's and talk film and art with a small group of like minded individuals. We now hold meetings at Gateway Theaters on Campus and head to the B&N bookstore after.

Much more on the way.

i really like the music of your movie ghosts I:I.

Is that an unfinished production? It looks like a trailer.

Nine Inch Nails double CD titled Ghosts. Trent Reznor asked the worlds filmmakers to interpret his music off those 2 CDs and create a film for them. That is one of my entries. Google or YouTube for "Trent Reznor Ghosts" for more details.

DeepBlueEditor In reply to karlisbergs [2007-12-07 05:58:44 +0000 UTC]

Hello. Super 8 and regular 8 are alive and well. You can still buy regular 8 (double 8) from a few places like John Schwind for $10 per roll of ASA 100 B&W (Tri-X). Super 8 is plentiful.

Write me at the following address so we can chat more about this. I'll fill you in on what I use and how I do it.

I was asked if I would like to join the new filmmaker section of the web site to which I happily said yes. I received a special link that allowed me to be recognized as a filmmaker which in turn allows me to upload my short pieces. That's all I know about the process. You might want to get a hold of FallenRox and ask her about becoming a member.

Best,

Hey ...Rox,
How do I invite a filmmaker to join the site? Can't seem to find that anyplace easily. I have 2 people I would love to see here.

Thanks. So far - love what you all have done with the place.

Got it figured out. Added Shadowfaceproducer. He already uploaded a short. Coincidentally, I shot that one for him. I like what they did with it in editing. My next invitation will be to a guy I know doing modern German Expressionistic films. [link]
