hi, congratz for your work!

i am a blender user too. I ve a question , what is u set up please ( cpu , video card etc ), cause i ve a old cppu ( P4 2.6ghz, 2go ram 200mhz, ati radeon 3550) and i can work only in low poly. Its not confortable for some work.

I guess it is always good to start with a bad cpu
to get a feeling about the resources.

My first computer:
Pentium processor with 1.0GHz
256 MB RAM
40 GB HD
ATI graphics card with 128 mb graphic memory
very slow :( (Sad) but blender worked :) (Smile)

My new Notebook:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz Intel(R)
HD Graphics 4600 NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M
12GB RAM

U r right! For now i am training with basics and fundamentals modeling, displacement, texturing etc etc, and its very very ppowfull knolegde :D (Big Grin)

To create gif animations i use FreeVideotoGIFConverter.

Coole Sachen gibts hier - nett zu sehen, was andere so mit Blender machen. Ich hab auch ca. zur Zeit von Blender 2.4x begonnen, mich mit dem Thema auseinander zu setzen. Allerdings scheinbar nicht ganz so intensiv wie du?! ;) (Wink)

Naja, werd dich mal im Auge behalten.
