well, I'm fine and all but my country is pretty much devastated now and life is kinda nonexistent
and it's still not as bad as in some other western coutnries
what makes me really worried is how things will look like in upcoming time, with such a huge disruption in economy and mentality of people in general; how will things go on from now... and I also hope that my grandma won't catch this friggin virus

Yeah, well, the coutnry which I come from has never been rich anyway, so... as far as I know, wealthier countries, even if more affected, will still be better off after the pandemic than those so called 2nd world ones. Good thing is that these poorer cointries are somewhat less affected by virus than wealthier western european ones. And my, I feel really sorry for the US. Number of infected and casualties really skyrocketed in there.

I heard that your government started implementing restrictions a bit too late so the number of infected may still become quite large. But it's good you have a situation under control now.

Yeah, I'm pretty much doing the usual stuff generally. And I draw every day, even if I have little time.

Unfortunately. Polish economy has never really be that great ever since WWII. Then, recently it's been making progress but this crisis now is going to hamper it yet again. But to tell you the truth, Poland never really had any decent government that would lead it in any good direction. The current government propells socialism and public debt by handing over money all around. And it does not encourage entrepreneurship, finding new, better solutions... It does not let people think openmindedly... It does not make the law better and instead keeps it idiotic... It does not invest in science or technology, the country loses a lot of opportunities... Those figureheads can only keep arguing stupid, mundane shit and not do anyhing worthwhile. No wonder this country is still so backwards. It's always been like that so no wonder other, more developed forces have been robbing it to no end leaving it without a chance to flourish. But Poles, instead of realising their mistakes, only keep blaming others how bad and evil they are. But not themselves for not being resourceful. In the end, everybody bears fruits of their own actions and decisions. If somebody makes stupid decisions, the consequences are terrible. And we can blame external factors for those consequences ut int he end, we are directly responsible.
That's Poland in a nutshell.

But I guess one thing that you actually can be thankful is that Poland reacted reasonably to the coronavirus threat and casualties are farily low. As regards fear, people here are reacting to it without question. Like, this common argument that a flu virus is much worse would not work here And people who bought it and thought that way are paying the price now.

Yeah, you are lucky that you live in a fairly prosperous country that was once the strongest in the world. But eastern Europe is another story. But as I said before, the way things are is a result of what was done on the inside more than anything among the outside factors.

That may be true. Even if it's a result of rather irrational frenzy and overreaction than a rational judgment, it definitely had rather good outcome. It crippled the economy, but if that panic and restrictions was not here, Poland would likely end up like the western Europe.
