    Daniel gathered his belongings, prepared for another day of job hunting. He had been performing this routine since things got slow at his main profession. He works at a meat packing plant, and around this time of the year, the orders became very scarce. Thus, the man hours suffered, and the employees went from full time to scraping by with fifteen hour weeks. Ordinarily, this wasn't a problem for him and his wife. He was paid enough to keep them above water, but there had been a development that warranted the daily anxiety he felt about it. He walked to the kitchen counter, pocketing his keys. He looked over to his heavily pregnant partner, who is lounging on their couch. She is holding a book in one hand and rubbing her gargantuan belly with the other. She is sit! Enjoy the series.
