Gah... The reason I fell off of the art planet entirely a few months ago was largely due to the fact that I got a new job that keeps me freakishly busy making art for facebook games, right after that I moved. I want to make more stuff, and I have ideas... but no time! Soon I swear, I'll be able to make time for it again. but until then... I'm going to be a little quiet.

Then specifically, and I'm betting you've heard of it, but just in case you somehow haven't (I don't know how well it's being marketed over there) The Secret of Kells is an amazing little animation with some of the most gorgeous design I've seen in a long time. Cartoon Saloon is responsible for that one and few others. Also another Euro-studio did a film that I can't seem to find in English, (even though I've seen numerous English pencil tests) but is also brilliantly designed and animated: Nocturna. Okay I'm done my rambling!

Edward Juan is one of my favourites! A couple of the others are familiar too but there are some nice hidden gems. You have a really good taste. I'm looking to go into some more 3D craft artwork so Brittney Lee is great reference. Yeah pretty much no one has heard of the Secret of Kells here, but I managed to get hold of a copy last month. I've not heard of Nocturna though- that film looks really interesting. I'll have to get me a copy of that somehow. Your favourite movies are really good as well. Gondry is great!
