I am glad you are enjoying it ^^

If I wand smooth colours I am using multiple coats of watercoulours/aquarells and if it needs texture, like for instance the backgrounds of my animalstudies, I use polychromos pencils.
It also works really good to use the pecils as a finish for the watercolour art.

So Werewolfs, Animal-Human Hybrids and things like pegasi should be fine.
