i was actually talking about how stupid the group rules were to some friends about a year ago, and i thought the owner was kinda like... weird. mostly because of the explanations for said rules and how he acted like a goddamn pokemon group on deviantart was some kind of professional gig. (spoiler alert, chico: it's not)
the dude is a gold medalist in mental gymnastics apparently
i'm glad i was always too lazy to join. hopefully shit works out for the folks who've been taken advantage of

Yeah- I've heard some stories about his group rules. Some were stupid and others were iffy and discriminatory at best. I hope DA takes action on him soon so others don't have to deal with this nonsense.

i remember seeing your art on the schoolofdragons forums around maybe late 2014 - early 2015 w/ your night fury oc(s?), and i loved your art and characters. lowkey inspired some of my first ocs and i'm really glad that it did, because if i hadn't made my own then i probably wouldn't have really continued with art to begin with. honestly, since i kinda turned out to be a quiet loser kid in my school, i probably wouldn't have had much going for me if i hadn't picked that up and writing, so i'm kinda grateful for that ig, lol

yeah matthias is my boy! i've had him since 2010 but only started drawing him consistently in 2014
i super fell out of school of dragons and only occasionally go back to see what's up, but that's rad that my stuff helped inspire you! it's always weird to imagine myself having that kind of effect on someone
also drawing has always been kinda my thing. i'm lukewarm-to-terrible at pretty much everything else
