Your name still gets brought up from time to time, due to your legendary status amongst Deadwoodheads! You tend to make/leave an impression. : )

Don't know if you've heard...but, we lost our beloved MizM recently. It was quite a shock.

There are very few of us Hooples left, and we meet at a different site, since the HBO boards blow, but, we're trying to hang in.

Dodger, don't know if you remember me from the hbo Deadwood boards. I was just looking for them to read something -- anything -- of yours. But I guess they are down? Do you know if anyone has them copied anywhere?

Dodger, I still think of many things you wrote. I mean routinely. It was .. . .well, I imagine you hearing this all the time, but it was an absolute thrill to read your writing on Deadwood. It had a tremendous impact on me and does to this day. It was some of the best criticism, in the large best sense of that word, that I have ever read in any field.

Course I remember you, Nomi. Yeah, I do think HBO dumped all the Deadwood board stuff ... da dummies. But David's new series "Luck" got picked up for this season, so I'm sure they'll open a forum on that one and I'll be over there babbling on ad nauseum about it. Hope to see you there!
