Mama was forced into marriage at the age of fourteen (the groom was twenty three): her brother caught her at a café, drinking cappuccino with two boys and a girlfriend. The brother, who had returned home with an (all-)American wife, still stuck to the old ways as far as his little sister went: he ratted her out to the family, and to save their 'honour' they married her off as soon as possible.
