No pressure! Getting a graphics tablet is a huge help, but some people's styles ink just with the pen tool, so don't need it. Try it out!

While working I was living cheap and saved enough for my new hardware. All that ramen paid off because I got the tablets I aimed to get, holdon, I'll note you, don't want to mess up your comments section more than I have.

...Buy refurbished, it typically knocks 1/4 of the price off and there's no down-side as it was tested as a new product would be once it left the factory for the second time. That's it - expensive products = bigger savings. Wacom has a good supply of refurbished items because people keep breaking their tablets within warranty and getting them replaced for free.
