I was wondering, how did you (and others for that matter) get so good at animal anatomy? like of course a lot of practice, but would you say it's more from doing it so much from refrences or did you take a lot of classes that helped for it? did you just always draw animals? i'm just looking for advice to perfect my skills.

oh hi, this is my old account. xD to answer your question (as late as it is), for me it was years of repetition from constantly drawing the same subjects (to cure boredom in class no less), and almost never being happy with the results. if you sketch for example 100 horses in one sitting all while studying references throughout, chances are the last one will be much better than the first. (obviously that excercise would take time and dedication not everyone has xD)

haha. okay, thank you! i could have sworn you just didn't give a crap about my question lol. thank you so much for answering tho. yeah, thats what i figured. i was just curious how YOU happened to get so good! you know :) (Smile) that's really interesting. im just one of those people who has a talent, but just draws all types of things. i think it's cool that someone could make drawing animal anatomy their area of expertice (bec they're as difficult as humans...for some ppl). anyhoo, beautiful gallery! thanks for the insight!
